I have my weekends setup correctly as non-working days. I would like to enter a duration on tasks and for the system to calculate and show the duration only during the work week. Example: If I put in a 2 week duration for the task, it would show from the first Monday to the second Friday. I'm guessing that there is another field aside from duration that I need to use to accomplish this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Saving Changes...

I see Phil has helped here - reading the posts you are setting a task for 6 days. If you are expecting the work to be done over the weekend but you do not want to affect the remainder of the project change the working time/calendar for the task to a Weekend Caneldar.
Otherwise project is doing what it is asked and not scheduling the work on the non -working days.
As phil points out you need to make them working to include those days in the duration. If a piece of work will take 4 working days and there will be no breaks then that task has to have it's time set accordingly.
I have multiple calendars created for these types of scenarios - People want to work weekend/OT so I created a weekend working calendar
Same for Evenings
Same for holidays
SO you end up with about 4-5 calendars you can set against the resource / task in the advanced tab.
That is not my goal; If I create a task with a 7 day duration, I do not want it to cross into Saturday and Sunday. I want the 6th day to start on Monday of the following week, and the 7th day to end on Tuesday of the following week.
