While a self-study guide might help, I'd recommend thoroughly reviewing the risk content in the Sixth and Seventh editions of the PMBOK Guide and reading the Standard for Risk Management end-to-end.

I personally only used the Standard for Risk Management and certain chapters from the PMBOK (Stakeholders, Communication, Risk Management) when I did my exam few years ago and I did find those resources sufficient.

In addition to standard for risk management, you may consider using the book "Study guide for PMI Risk Management" from Abdulla J. Alkuwaiti. Its quite a simplistic version of the PMI standard like RMC for PMP.
