While a number of the scenario-oriented questions will be based on the process details from the Sixth Edition, there will be more and more questions created and added to the exam pool over time based on Seventh Edition content. Also, remember that the PMBOK Guide is just one many references used for the exam so don't base your studying purely on that publication.

Trying to add something to @Kiron answer above there is a "trap" (jeje) created by the PMI. First of all, you have to pay attention to the official documentation about the certification which is inside the certification web site itself. But, if you see, the PMI has delivered two key documents: the guide itself and the process. So, if you think both, you will find there are not too much differences between version 7 and version 6. That is too sad, at least for me, but is the strategy the PMI has been taken when the guide was changed. So: my recommendation is studying according to the reference you will find in the official documentation. Saving Changes...
I got my PMP cert in November 2022 and I have to confirm - I studied from both PMBOK6 and 7 and the knowledge from both sources was important for the exam. Saving Changes...
I think you can go 2 ways: either 7th and 6th editions (however 6th editions is now harder and harded to get your hands on in Print), or 7th edition + Process Groups: A Practice Guide + Agile Guidebook - these are the latest materials and should be plenty to cover all the theory in the exam
