Joseph, it is too soon to tell but the degree to which employment will be affected by AI will definitely be industry dependent. AI will not replace the jobs; But People with AI knowledge replace the people without AI knowledge; Degree of integrity to be decided.
Before 2 to 3 decades, Computer or Laptop didn't replace the people...only efficient operators are elevated themselves to next level easily. Saving Changes...
AI tools are only a threat to those who are unable or unwilling to evolve their capabilities. I prefer to look at such tools as freeing us up to focus on higher level work and non-work pursuits.
