Would love to get some perspectives around the growing shift from a project to a product mindset. What is your take and how would you respond to growing calls in an organisation to adopt a product mindset? Can the two (project and product management) work together harmoniously? What are your experiences? Thanks Saving Changes...

This shift is a significant one as it affects not only delivery teams but also supporting services (e.g. Finance, Procurement, HR) within an organization.
While the need for project management practices doesn't get diminished, the role of a PM might morph or be split between team leads for a product delivery team and product manager.
It is also important for the leadership team to decide where efficiencies exist in a product-centric approach and where a traditional project-centric approach still makes sense as I have seen cases where the pendulum swung all the way to product-centric for ALL work and this was not optimal for certain "one off" initiatives.

Will,
mindsets (there are many), perspectives, frameworks should help you reach your goals.
I my view it is a sign of maturity, capability and a building block to your wisdom to be able to shift to a mindset instantaneously when the situation requires it. It is also a key to mental health.
Reframing, changing perspectives can be improved, it also is a topic in mental health. For example, using role plays, 7 hats of deBono, Design Thinking are exercises to develop this competency. Saving Changes...

Simple: people have to think on solutions, where solution is equal to "the thing" (product/service/result) to be created plus "the way" (project) to create it. It must be for ever. Lot of organizations use this approach from long time ago. If not, is the first step to fail. Saving Changes...
