While I don't feel the PMP might be AI assisted as that sounds like cheating to me, I do see the potential for a micro-credential (near term) in the use of AI to support effective & efficient project management and eventually we might see PMI's foundational standards revised to fully incorporate the impacts of AI.

Jimmy, my thoughts are in line with Kiron’s. PMI might come up with their own AI App, but certifications to be AI assisted, I highly doubt.

I think that with the kinds of PMP questions nowadays, give AI enough good sample data, it will be able to pass the exam.

I agree with Kiron.

I can think of a few ways certifications might be AI assisted. Language translation is one. Remote exam proctoring is another since AI can use facial recognition to help identify cheating (not necessarily good especially when you consider people with disabilities). It could also help analyze exam results to give exam takers better feedback on strengths vs. weaknesses.

AI may be a useful aid tool to make certification processes automatized. But, in terms of applying AI in our daily work as Project Managers, this should be a continuous incorporation of new Tools and AI Technologies, so, it can be considered a good practice and not a Micro-Credential that you earn once.
