Hello all, with how big Generative AI has been getting within the PMI community and the project management profession in general, I was trying to look for podcasts that are dedicated to it and practices that are being done towards it, but have not seen much. Anyone have any recommendations? On the other hand, would anyone be interested in starting one dedicated to the area as well? Would love to discuss this more with anyone interested in doing so as well for the community. As a Generative AI practitioner, I personally would like to contribute towards the topic area more in the form of podcasts, but am not sure of the starting point as of yet. Would be great to hear suggestions on approaches for this and/or interest as well from the general community on this too!

Hey Renaldi, As an AI practitioner, your insights and expertise would be valuable contributions to the community. I would suggest starting by identifying specific areas within AI and project management that you would like to focus on, and then reaching out to industry experts( Ex - Bernard Marr) and professionals( MBB experts) who can provide their insights as guests on your podcast. Happy to discuss this further.

The course suggested by Luis Branco is a good way to start becoming familiar with generative AI and is tailored to the Project Management area. After reviewing the content and passing the exam, this free course will grant you with 5 PDUs.

Dear Renaidi,

The idea of diving into podcasts specifically focused on the intersection of Generative AI and project management is really intriguing. I've been keeping an eye on this space myself, given how rapidly AI is transforming the way we approach project management.

From my exploration, it does seem like there's a bit of a gap in dedicated podcast content around this topic. There are plenty of tech and AI podcasts out there, and some project management ones too, but finding one that zeroes in on Generative AI within the project management sphere seems like uncharted territory.

It's a space ripe for exploration, really. Imagine a podcast that not only talks about the latest developments in AI but also how they specifically impact project management – from risk assessment to resource allocation, and everything in between. There's so much potential to delve into case studies, discuss ethical implications, explore new tools, and even interview experts in the field.

As for your interest in starting one, I say go for it! There's clearly an interest in the community, and with your background in Generative AI, you're well-positioned to offer valuable insights. The key to a good podcast is finding that niche angle – something you're passionate about and that fills a gap in existing content. And it sounds like you've got that.

In terms of starting points, it might be worth connecting with others in the PMI community who share your interest. Platforms like LinkedIn, PMI forums, or even Reddit can be great places to start those conversations. You could look for co-hosts, guest speakers, or even just bounce ideas around. It's also worth looking into the technical side of podcasting – recording equipment, editing software, and platforms for hosting and distributing your podcast.

I'd be really interested to see where this goes. A podcast like this could be a fantastic resource for the project management community, especially as we all navigate the integration of AI into our work. What are some key topics or questions you'd want to explore in this podcast? Getting a clear idea of your content focus could be a great first step.

Br,

Markus
