I see people using AI-enabled tools for many project management functions, including planning, writing, risk management, time and cost management and prototyping. Can anyone share what specific tools or plug-ins they have been using, and how? Saving Changes...
ChatGPT4, Midjourney, and others. Warning - ChatGPT hallucinates. I only use it for long-form copy by feeding it explicit prompts and editing deeply. (It's a great help for complicated tax returns, though.) It also overuses hyperbolic adjectives and adverbs and sometimes makes some words up entirely. It also uses gerunds as the subject of sentences excessively, weakening writing to the level of a high school student. Grammarly is a helpful tool, but it also makes inaccurate suggestions that change the meaning of sentences. Midjourney is really fun, but it's addictive and can therefore be expensive if you iterate too much. Saving Changes...
I mostly use ChatGPT/ BARD for my projects. It gives a nice first draft of communication or content that I clean and tailor with project specifics. Saving Changes...
Chat GPT for summarizing notes and writing email, etc.
Take care when using ChatGPT from openai as in the T &C is stated that your data can be used for training purposes, this means your data is not confidential. I recommend using Azure OpenAI if you want to use ChatGPT model Saving Changes...
Zoom AI Plug in, can provide you detail summary of meetings, you can also search the notes to recall a specific topic, or say "was my name mentioned". PS. You must go into your desktop Zoom Version to turn it on.
I use Teams for meetings summarization Saving Changes...
There's a YouTube video that came out today. I guess links are frowned upon but it's called, "How Microsoft 365 Copilot can work with your external data" I really cannot wait to try that out, the principal product manager discusses how to tie things into Copilot. If anyone has a chance to try it please share! Around 10 minutes.
Reading more into this. Copilot's "list" price is $30 pupm, on top of an eligible Microsoft account. pretty steep. Maybe if the value is there and the potential time savings?

Hi, this is an interesting topic, I've had a chance to see an AI demo to making the meeting minutes. This recap did not be noted manually by PM or the meeting's conductor, instead of an AI bot. It suggested all the actions need to be followed up from the meeting (from voices, ideas raised and discussed subjects), also suggested the next topics to be discussed basing on the meeting's resources. But, it's not free for now, we should pay to buy an account to use it and gain the experiences. Anyway, would love to hear any other tools and case studied about this. Thanks!

At my company, we're using ChatGPT for marketing ops. For example, it's useful to help define a new market customer persona.
We're also using the OpenAI Playground tool as we are building an API to connect with our project tool. This OpenAI playground takes ChatGPT to the next level. I can toggle between GPT-3.5 and GPT-4. There are many other settings, such as experimenting with the "temperature", which sets the randomness of the response.
Thanks Paul. Do you mean the playground of Azure Open AI? Saving Changes...

I use ChatGPT, GPT4All, LLama2B extensively to enhance, streamline and expedite tasks that require digesting large sets of information (Vendor RFP responses for example). AI tools are very efficient in identifying patterns, coalescing data and presenting in a format that is easily transferable to daily tasks. However, it is critical to de-identify data before submitting to any "online" large language model to ensure privacy and compliance. My suggestion would be to use a Large Language Model on your own desktop without outside connectivity. Checkout GPT4All desktop.
Somen, you are so right. It's so easy to get caught up in the bright shiny newness of ChatGPT or any other AI functionality enabled application and forget that very basic concept of protecting our data. This is always a very timely reminder, thank you. I will be looking at the GPT4All you recommended. Appreciate the recommendation. Saving Changes...
