I took the PM exam and due to some incidents near the exam center that made me lose concentration, I did not pass 80% of the exam. It is true that in 5 minutes I answered almost 75 or 80 questions because I did not have time and because leave them blank...I was very prepared to take the exam successfully, I thought so, but the result was catastrophic, and although I know I studied a lot, I have the doubt if I didn't know it so well. I'm going back to studying to approve, but if you could give me some advice I would appreciate it because the effort was very great. I studied for 3 months and the tests were satisfactory, and I want to pass this time!

Assuming you were well prepared for your first attempt, there are likely no specific areas to focus on. Unfortunately, as 40% of the questions were answered in a rushed manner, the detailed exam analysis report which PMI provides is unlikely to give you much useful insight into where to focus.

As such, I'd recommend continuing to practice with good quality practice exams leading up to your second attempt date and you may wish to apply some risk management practices to the selection of a test center and might even consider doing the test from home if that would eliminate the risk of repeat "incidents".

Good luck!

If you had that many questions that you had not even seen yet, then you should revise your test taking strategy. You're taking too long on questions where you're not sure before answering all the easy ones where you can score points.

You need to make multiple passes through the question. The first pass, only answer the questions where you are immediately sure of the answer. Anything you are not sure right away, flag for review and move on. There may be a surprising number but don't let that concern you.

Second pass answer the ones that take more thought like remembering an EVM formula, but again, if it is something that is taking a lot of time, put in your best guess, keep it flagged and move on. You'll eventually get to the questions where you can rule out some answers but have to guess on the right answer between fewer choices giving you a lot higher chance of guessing correctly.

Sorry to hear that. I would agree with Kiron's advise - I also recommend you do as much simulation exam as you can. A good resource for practice exams is PM PrepCast. Make sure you read all answers and rationale behind the answers as this is where you will learn most.

Good luck with your second attempt.

Never worry brother-at times it's part of the game! Do not take the toll on you and feel sorry for yourself! Now that you are appearing for the PMP exam, you are a problem solver :-). Your tone is very positive and confident and all you need to do is get ready to attend one more time. This time you take all the precautions and prepare well. As I do mentor professionals in PMP/RMP/PgMP, should you be in need of any assistance, just reach out to me, and am more than happy to help you cross the bridge. All the very best and you will rock it this time.

I agree, it is best to practice questions in the same language you are going to take the exam with. I am not too sure honestly if PM PrepCast simulator is available in Spanish. You will have to check their website and see. If it is available in another language then it should be stated on their website.
