Hi everyone,

I got confused with my promotion on the titles… so I manage set of projects on production side, hosting side and software development. All are contributing to the same goal, the delivery of the final product to the client. Technically, I need to make sure it works as a whole, so can it be considered a program management of one big program? Appreciate the support.

If all your projects, sub-programs and other activities are related and do contribute to the same long term organization goal, then those could be lumped under a Program.

Evgeniya -

A program in one company is viewed as a large project in another - unfortunately there is no single objective test which applies across all industries and companies.

Does each project deliver value to your stakeholders? If not, then they might be seen as work streams of a single large project. If they do, and if the integration of them results in a greater outcome then that would better fit as a program. If there is an operations component for completed work streams within the overall initiative which also needs to be managed by the team, then that also might characterize it as a program.
