While researching computer modeling, I found several papers describing the use of genetic algorithms to find better ways to organize businesses, like how they are used to develop stronger shapes or more effective molecules. The organization is modeled as a system with a genome describing the attributes and a method of evaluating the overall system performance. Then genes may be altered and the changes kept if performance improves and discarded if not. AI facilitates the selection of changes and the evaluation of the results.
While this is more advanced than the capabilities of most companies, it is used in multiple scientific fields and I think we will see AI used to support more simulations of these types in the future to suggest organizational improvements and strategies. Saving Changes...
