Mohamed El-ZanatyQA/QC Manager| Kharafi National SAEAlexandria, Egypt
Greetings Everyone, I am Mohamed. An Egyptian Mech. Engineer with over 18 years of experience, I oversee the quality control and assurance of various projects in the oil and gas, power, and petrochemical sectors in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Sultanate of Oman.
In this field, I have developed strong competencies in welding, piping, NDT, and project management.
I hold the PMP® credential and many quality control related certifications which demonstrate my knowledge and skills in delivering high-quality results within budget and schedule as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Besides working as a full time Quality Control Manager, I also work as a part time instructor and lecturer in welding technology and non-destructive testing (NDT) as I have experience in training and mentoring other QA/QC engineers, inspectors and fresh graduated engineers.
Growing up, I always dreamed to become a pilot but it was just a fairytale.
Since I got my PMP® credential, I am so excited about the experiment of knowing more people, sharing and learning new information and to continuously learn and improve my expertise.

That’s the way the PMI community should be. Sometimes we might have constructive arguments or different opinions, but we will always be the same family within PMI. :)

My name is Fernando Marques, and I'm excited to join this community. I seek projects that combine technology and social impact. My passion for the PDCA cycle and desire to learn more about agile methodologies like Scrum and Agile have brought me here. In addition to founding a prominent ESCO in Brazil and overseeing a successful M&A transition for our clients, I recently became a father, which has been an incredible journey. I'm looking forward to learning and contributing to all of you in this community!

Hi all, I'm Rob Wickham and I'm in a job transition while getting my PMP. I've most recently been a Technical Program Director for my last employer.
Growing up, I've always loved airplanes. When I hit university, I joined AFROTC and wanted to become a fighter pilot. I also loved software engineering, and fell back on that when I kept throwing up into my Nomex glove during aerobatics in flight school.
Professionally, I've really enjoyed the blending of Agile and Waterfall and MS Project w/ either ADO or Jira as primary mechanisms. SAFe has a lot to offer (so I've under-utilized it most likely.) It's been difficult to abide a new approach in-situ, so having a solid repertoire in hand before you engage allows for better right-sizing rather than learning wholesale. I'm using this job transition to re-tool w/ my PMP before I get too wound up in a new gig.
I've been a program manager since 1989, and when I left Microsoft, I adopted a project management role primarily (circa 2015 to-date). I'm open to both, and love aspects of both largely because of the BA and people dynamics. Learning a new business/process and how to reflect desired state of a group of people is powerful mojo. I'm also an INFJ middle kid, if you get my vibe.
I'm quite proud of flying solo around the grand canyon in a Cessna 172 for my private pilot license (Flagstaff to Paige, St. George, Kingman, back to Flagstaff). It was the most risk I've ever taken. Now I'm pretty risk averse, but have my moments. I'm also happy I could serve my country even if flying jets wasn't in the cards.
