Good day to all!! I am super excited to be a part of this community! I am currently a college student pursuing a bachelor's degree in business communications. I received my CAPM on December 31st! My dream is to work with businesses, helping them find and eliminate bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and to train them in AI tailored to their specific business, so I wanted to get a PM certification to support that goal.
I am also a mom to 3 teenage boys (yes, my house is usually either crazy loud and rambunctious or quiet as they are all on their video games lol). I was a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom for 12 years before splitting with my ex. That was when I started this journey! My why will always be to provide a safe, secure, and loving home for myself and my boys.
I look forward to connecting with others and learning wherever I can, because that is the ultimate goal in life!
Hi Samantha, welcome to PMI's online community. Congratulations on earning your CAPM! Saving Changes...

Cameron BattsOperations Management| United States Air ForceWinters, CA, United States
Name and Current Role My name is Cameron Batts. I am an Operations Manager in Diagnostic Imaging for the United States Air Force, where I have served for 16 years. I am also currently completing the Accelerated MSQM program at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. What did you want to be when you were growing up? I was always interested in technology and systems. I wanted to work in a field that required technical expertise and the ability to lead teams through complex tasks, which led me to my career in military healthcare operations. Favorite PM tools and technologies (or ones to learn)? I focus heavily on data visualization and use R and Pythonfor analysis. As I prepare for the PMP exam, I am interested in learning more about how industry-standard project management software can be used to track performance and improve accuracy in large-scale operations. What drew you to the project management industry? What's kept you in it? My background in healthcare administration and military service made project management a practical career choice. I appreciate the focus on clear structure and the ability to manage risk. I stay in this field because I enjoy the process of refining workflows and finding ways to make operations more efficient. What's your proudest accomplishment (personal or professional)? My proudest professional achievement is completing 16 years of military service while consistently pursuing higher education. Managing full-time clinical operations while earning an MBA and now a Master’s from Duke has been a significant and rewarding challenge.

Hi Cameron, thanks so much for joining us in PMI's online community. Welcome!
My name is Amanda Anipu, a project and programme management professional with over 12 years of experience supporting donor-funded and development programmes across agribusiness, inclusive finance, youth and women’s economic empowerment, and market systems development, primarily in Ghana and Sub-Saharan Africa.
My background spans programme coordination, stakeholder engagement, work planning, budget oversight, and results tracking, working with NGOs, private sector partners, and development institutions. I’m particularly interested in how strong project management practices can strengthen impact delivery in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
I recently joined this community to learn, exchange practical tools, and stay current with evolving project management approaches, especially in adaptive, development-focused contexts.
I look forward to connecting, learning from your experiences, and contributing where I can.
Warm regards
