Luyanda Clifford MoyeniDVP PMI-SA/ Project Professional /Administration Manager/| Government of South Africa(Dept of Health EC)KING WILLIAMS TOWN, South Africa
Greetings Everyone, I’m Luyanda from South Africa my background is in Project Support, administration, Records, and Document Management with more than 15 years of experience in project management. I’ve been in Daimler Chrysler Motor Manufacturing Company and the Department of Health (SA) Projects.
Growing up, I've always wanted to be a lawyer for obvious reasons growing up in an unequal and oppressed society. With good high school grades but no resources to go to school that dream disappeared in vain. The priority was to go work for your family's survival that’s where I ended up at the manufacturing company.
I was drawn to the Project Management Industry by the poor performance of government development programs in previously disadvantaged communities. Unfinished projects, poor quality and workmanship, and wanted the opportunity to lead and be part of transformative projects. The manufacturing projects were my first step in the industry which became a reality through effective project management with the Mercedes Benz W03 and W204 projects, which was a fulfilling experience that has kept me in this field.
When I got to the public departments, I often saw myself involved in a project by default, since I’m in love with projects, all the HR, patient, and finance records-related programs are turned to become projects because of their poor management. I get involved from the design stage, all the way to implementation coordination. That’s where I built myself for so many years, to successful projects. I wanted to specialize in digitizing Records and Document management. Joining the professional body (PMI) has allowed me to be able and be exposed to PMP certification which I'm busy with at the moment. The structure and tools to execute and manage projects have been my strength, making my love for the logistics of every event or program involved.
Some of my highlights and proudest moments when I got involved and played a leading role in the following projects
Physical Verification/Employee Headcount Project
Human Resource and Registry Project
Mercedes Benz C Class W204 Project
I’m looking forward to growing, connecting with fellow PMI members, sharing experiences, getting more opportunities, and learning.
Thank you

Hello everyone, I’m Joe, an architect with 15 years experience of turning ideas into sketches, sketches into detailed drawings, and the drawings into buildings and spaces that can be felt and experienced by users. I am a Kenya, born and educated, but spent most of my professional life in Rwanda, driving projects from design to construction.
As a kid, I was more drawn to the performing arts, i.e. music and theatre, but that was not considered a viable career choice where I am from. I first encountered technical drawing and design in high school, and that is where I immediately decided that architecture was going to be my life.
As an architect, you often find yourself being a project manager by default, since you are leading project from the design stage, all the way to construction supervision. That is a position I excelled and thrived in for so many years, managing very successful projects in Rwanda, Uganda, D.R. Congo and Kenya. What I lacked was a standardised way of managing projects, and that is where I turned to PMI. PMP has given me the structure and tools to execute and manage projects more efficiently, and I cant wait to reap the benefits.
My proudest accomplishment is my contribution to the Kigali skyline, and the continuous rapid development of infrastructure in Rwanda.
It's good to see other people making their mark in this world of Project Management, keep up and grow Oginga Saving Changes...

Hello PMI Community!
My name is Mohamed Osman Ismail, and I currently serve as a Program Management Specialist. Growing up, I dreamed of becoming a community social service worker to help address poverty challenges in my community in Ethiopia’s Somali region.
