Hy Everyone. I'm Freddy AMAFON from Cote d'Ivoire, West Africa. I work in a Project Management Unit as Head of Department Internal Auditor and I'm passionate about project management.
I first heard about PMP in November 2019 during a project management training course in Marrakech, Morocco. Since then, I've been determined to become a PMP myself. It took me some time, but I'm happy to say that time was not enough to make me forget this project. As of August 30, 2024, it's a done deal. I'm a certified PMP and I'm looking forward to an exciting adventure.

Yang Yi MBA Student| Missouri State University
Hello, my name is Yang Yi, and I have over a decade of rich experience in project management, particularly within international trade, procurement, and contract administration. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working across diverse industries, from minerals to real estate, honing my skills in handling complex projects, managing teams, and ensuring smooth project execution.

Most notably, during my tenure at Metso Minerals China, I played a critical role as a Project Manager, where I was responsible for coordinating international contracts, overseeing the entire lifecycle of project documentation, and negotiating both standard and non-standard contracts. My hands-on experience in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with global suppliers and stakeholders allowed me to resolve financial and operational challenges efficiently.

In addition to my project management expertise, I have a solid foundation in procurement, supply chain management, and after-sales service. I’ve managed import/export processes, vendor relations, and logistics, ensuring seamless operations and compliance with both local and international regulations.

I’m currently pursuing an Executive MBA at Missouri State University, which is further enhancing my leadership capabilities and strategic insight. I’m also working toward a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, which I expect to complete in March 2025.

I’m enthusiastic about connecting with other project management professionals to exchange ideas on effective project methodologies, negotiation tactics, and international procurement strategies. If any of these areas resonate with your own experiences or interests, I would love to explore potential collaborations or simply engage in insightful conversation.

Nice to meet you all here, and I look forward to connecting!

Peerapart Jamreugjang Project Management Officer| Sycapt Co., Ltd. 2, Raewadee 13, Tiwanon Rd., Nonthaburi, Thailand

Hi all, My name is Peerapart, but most Thai people have nicknames, so feel free to call me Peak. I’m currently a PMO (Project Management Officer) at a medium-sized company in Thailand called Sycapt. I'm relatively new to both this role and the working world, as I’ve been working for just over a year. However, I’m excited by the new things I learn every day.
I graduated from a different industry, but I wanted to challenge myself, which is why I’m now working in this field. My clients and projects are mostly in the banking industry, both local and international, which gives me the opportunity to work with different cultures (something I really enjoy).
I’m proud of myself because, given that my team is quite small, I’ve had the chance to work on various aspects of the project since day one. Sometimes it’s tough, but I believe that if I can do this, I’ll improve at a fast pace. In the near future, I hope to lead new projects at my company. That’s why I’m currently learning the fundamentals of data management and visualization tools like SQL, R Studio, Tableau, and Power BI.
To be better at working with my team and advance my career, I joined the PMI community and am preparing to take the CAPM certification.
I’d also like to mention something about my dream, if you’re curious! I’ve always wanted to explore different cultures, both in life and at work. One of my goals is to work in another country, possibly in Europe, not just remotely. I imagine walking to work, passing through parks, meeting new people, and learning a new language. I’m not sure how I’ll make this happen yet, but I’m determined to find a way one day.
