Hello Everyone, my name is Bryan and I'm a newer project manager looking to expand on my experience in healthcare/product management. Looking for a role as an associate/assistant project manager in the Sacramento Area or remotely.
Growing up, I wanted to be a professional baseball player and I chased that dream into college until the wheels fell off:)
I'm familiar with most Microsoft tools, but haven't used Microsoft Project so I'd to learn more about this. As most of you have more experience than me, I'd love to hear what your favorite tools are.
Managing product evaluations and implementations drew me to project management. I loved the process of managing the project and all of the moving pieces more than the sales process. I'd like to expand on this experience and possibly move into construction/utilities.
I've got a lot of baseball accomplishments I'm proud of, but as a project manager I managed three projects over three quarters that yielded significant increases in revenue for my company, reduced costs for the client and quota achievement for three quarters in a row.
Hello Bryan, welcome to PMI's online community!
We're glad to have you here and look forward to seeing you around the online community. Saving Changes...
I am Taylor, my role is a Project Manager in Innolight Technology Pte. Limited.
1.When I was growing up, I always dreamed of becoming an architect. I was fascinated by how buildings and structures could transform a space and shape communities. I loved drawing floor plans and imagining how different spaces could function together. Over time, I realized that while architecture was not my ultimate path, my passion for planning, organizing, and bringing ideas to life led me to project management. The skills I developed along the way, such as problem-solving and attention to detail, have been incredibly valuable in my career today.
2. I’m a big fan of tools like Asana and Trello for their ease of use and flexibility in organizing tasks and collaborating with teams. They make it easy to track progress and maintain clear communication. I also use Microsoft Project for more complex project timelines and resource management. Recently, I’ve been wanting to explore more advanced tools like Jira for agile project management, especially since it’s widely used in software development. I’d love to learn more about integrating different platforms and improving efficiency with automation features.
3.I was drawn to project management because I’ve always enjoyed problem-solving and working with teams to achieve common goals. The idea of being at the center of coordinating all the moving parts of a project, ensuring deadlines are met, and seeing a vision come to life really appealed to me. What’s kept me in the industry is the constant challenge and variety. Every project is different, and there’s always something new to learn. I thrive in dynamic environments, and the opportunity to make a direct impact on project success keeps me motivated.
4. What's your proudest accomplishment (personal or professional)?
Sample Answer:
One of my proudest professional accomplishments was leading a cross-functional team on a large-scale project that involved multiple stakeholders across different departments. Despite the complexity and tight deadlines, we were able to successfully launch the project ahead of schedule and under budget. What made it particularly rewarding was the collaboration and trust that developed within the team, and seeing the positive impact it had on the company’s overall strategy. Personally, I’m also proud of completing a marathon last year – it taught me the value of persistence and goal-setting, which I apply to both my professional and personal life.

Hello all, I am Dr Venkat, clinical pharmacist (Doctor of Pharmacy)by training with intrest in clinical trial and drug safety management.
I am a lead Safety Science Specialist with an experience of 10 years in the field of drug safety. My passion for health care and intrest in clinical services fuelled me to choose drug safety and clinical trials as my path to serve patients with approval of safe and effective new drugs for life threatening diseases.
Managing clinical and patient safety projects as per standards plays a pivotal role in the successful approval of new treatments. This sole reason drove me to patient safety project management which is a Herculean task due to highly regulated pharmaceutical industry
MS projects is the king of PM tools even though it doesn't have fancy options like Jira or others. However I wish to explore other project management tools which improves the speed, quality of work and ease of managing the project reports.
I am proud that I have accomplished a Gold
I aim to become a PMO head and inspire the groups

Hi Laura, my name is Jenny Lai.
I have been working in the Banking industry for over 6 years as a Project Manager, coming from an IT background. It is rather a natural career path that comes my way as I gained experience in the software and hardware industry simultaneously.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be a book author. But my upbringing somehow pushes me to STEM, and ended up in Math and Computer Science side.
Favorite project management tool has to be JIRA and Confluence, as each task could be distributed to each team member, and also able to generate report to departments as a high-level overview for a quick glance at project health.
