Hello and happy new year! My name is Washington U. Chimuzu. I'm originally from Malawi but currently living in Minnesota, USA where I'm pursuing my second master's in Public Policy at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota. This aside, I'm a Consultant/Trainer with HEBO Group, an ATP based in Tanzania plus sit on the board of Freshwater Project International, a nonprofit delivering water, sanitation and hygiene solutions in Malawi.
Growing up, I enjoyed playing with Lego and always wanted to travel and work in construction. I eventually studied Civil Engineering! One of my favorite project management tools is MS Project and I'm quickly getting used to PMI's Infinity, which I think is truly amazing. I want to learn and master Primavera at some point.
I got drawn into project management while working as a Construction Engineer with TotalEnergies where I was responsible for delivering new facilities and major refurbishments. I felt like I was thrown into the deep end, but over time, I wanted to master my skills, abilities, and impact. I'm always excited about growing, making new connections, learning, and adding value to any given assignment. There's never a dull day!
In 2017, I managed an irrigation project that diverted a major river to build a low-intake weir on the original channel. The task was extremely challenging, and some deemed it impossible, but we pulled it off! A few days ago, I was chatting with someone who was part of the project and was very proud to hear that the structure was well in use and that the beneficiaries of the project, the farmers, had been able to grow different crops over the years since. At a personal level, teaching my kids how to ride their bikes this past year was such a joy!

Abraham LourensBusiness Owner / PM & Business Management Consultant| TRINITY+ Project Management Solutions
Hello guys,
I am Braam Lourens (Abraham is my Christian name). I recently started my own Project Management consulting firm, TRINITY Project Management Solutions (Pty) Ltd, after working in the built environment as a Project Manager for 8+ years.
My only dream growing up was to be a professional athlete (Track & Field).
Project Management found me more than I found it. Since I only dreamt about professional sport when I was young, I didn’t really know what else I wanted to do in my adult life. I stayed in the Project Management industry because it gave me an opportunity to invest myself into a career that I can grow and develop in, and I am loving it!
My proudest accomplishment is probably my tenacity to find a way out of situations that was a result of bad choices when I was young. I completed a BCom degree whilst working full time and got my PMP certification to advance in my Project Management career.
I'm looking forward to connecting with other Project Management Professional and share thoughts and ideas together.
Hello! My name is Lynette Goodley, and I am currently a student pursuing a Master’s degree in Project Management at Columbia Southern University. In addition to my studies, I serve as an instructor at Odessa College, where I have the privilege of sharing my knowledge and inspiring others to excel. My ultimate goal is to transition into a role where I can fully leverage my degree, applying the leadership, planning, and organizational skills I’ve honed to drive successful projects and contribute to organizational growth. While I enjoy teaching the business aspects of project management, I am eager to immerse myself in the practical execution and strategy behind it. As a child, I aspired to become a psychiatrist, driven by a desire to help others through understanding and problem-solving. Over time, this passion evolved into a love for planning, organizing, and managing processes—skills I discovered through my workforce experiences. I thrive in environments where I can develop timelines, oversee tasks, and ensure projects are executed effectively from start to finish. I am committed to working diligently to achieve my goals and make a meaningful impact in the field of project management.
