Hello guys,
I am Braam Lourens (Abraham is my Christian name). I recently started my own Project Management consulting firm, TRINITY Project Management Solutions (Pty) Ltd, after working in the built environment as a Project Manager for 8+ years.
My only dream growing up was to be a professional athlete (Track & Field).
Project Management found me more than I found it. Since I only dreamt about professional sport when I was young, I didn’t really know what else I wanted to do in my adult life. I stayed in the Project Management industry because it gave me an opportunity to invest myself into a career that I can grow and develop in, and I am loving it!
My proudest accomplishment is probably my tenacity to find a way out of situations that was a result of bad choices when I was young. I completed a BCom degree whilst working full time and got my PMP certification to advance in my Project Management career.
I'm looking forward to connecting with other Project Management Professional and share thoughts and ideas together.

Hello! My name is Lynette Goodley, and I am currently a student pursuing a Master’s degree in Project Management at Columbia Southern University. In addition to my studies, I serve as an instructor at Odessa College, where I have the privilege of sharing my knowledge and inspiring others to excel. My ultimate goal is to transition into a role where I can fully leverage my degree, applying the leadership, planning, and organizational skills I’ve honed to drive successful projects and contribute to organizational growth. While I enjoy teaching the business aspects of project management, I am eager to immerse myself in the practical execution and strategy behind it. As a child, I aspired to become a psychiatrist, driven by a desire to help others through understanding and problem-solving. Over time, this passion evolved into a love for planning, organizing, and managing processes—skills I discovered through my workforce experiences. I thrive in environments where I can develop timelines, oversee tasks, and ensure projects are executed effectively from start to finish. I am committed to working diligently to achieve my goals and make a meaningful impact in the field of project management.
Best of luck in your studies! The community is here to support you in any way that we can. I look forward to seeing you around the online community! Saving Changes...

Hello Everyone,
My name is Ray. I’m a systems engineer with 30 years of experience and a leader with 20 years of experience. I have developed products in biotech, medical devices, high-energy physics, imaging, and more. I’m always looking to improve my skill set, so I decided to get a project management certification. I have gone through the required literature twice and used the Study Hall for preparation. There is lots of helpful information to absorb.
I find it very interesting. I have worked for companies that were very successful and those that were not. The companies that followed PMI best practices were successful, and those that did not failed. I already knew over half the content from the successful companies I worked for, but I see there are even more details I did not know about. I’m glad to be learning these details to be a better leader and project manager going forward.
Best regards,
Ray

Popitha SelvanayagamSr. Digital Project Manager| The Turn LabToronto, Ontario, Canada
Hi, I’m Popitha, a Senior Digital Project Manager at a Marketing Agency in Toronto, ON, Canada.
I dreamed of becoming a teacher growing up, but I’ve found that project management allows me to fulfill that same love for structure and guidance but in a fast-paced, ever-evolving industry.
I thrive on using tools like Kanban boards to keep projects on track—there’s something so satisfying about visually seeing tasks progress from start to finish, identifying what’s done, and focusing on what’s next.
What drew me to project management—and what keeps me here—is the excitement of tackling unique challenges and collaborating with incredible teams. It’s not just about the tasks; it’s about the people and the shared drive to make things happen.
My proudest accomplishment is earning my PMP designation. With tight finances at the time, I knew I had one shot to pass, and I poured everything into making that happen. It was a high-stakes moment that reminds me how resilience and determination pay off.

Hello Zeeshan Zohaib, welcome to PMI's online community! Thank you for joining us and sharing. It's great to learn more about you.
I’m Azzah Othman, a Project Manager specializing in healthcare consulting and construction. Growing up, I aspired to be a surgeon, but due to challenges in securing a scholarship, I pursued a career as a biomedical technologist instead. For the past 12 years, I've been heavily involved in hospital planning, especially medical technology and integration. This path eventually led me to project management, where I’ve found a passion for the dynamic nature of the field and the opportunity to learn from each unique project.
In my projects, I’ve primarily worked with the waterfall methodology, but I find agility particularly fascinating. I’m currently exploring ways to integrate agile principles into a hybrid framework for hospital construction projects. I believe this approach can enhance flexibility and responsiveness in delivering complex healthcare facilities. One of my proudest accomplishments was successfully handing over a Public-Private Funded teaching hospital project in Malaysia during the COVID-19 pandemic. Navigating new health regulations, procedures, and a high-demand client was no small feat, but it was incredibly rewarding. The experience earned me recognition as the first female project manager in the Asia region and was featured in our company global newsletter—a milestone I deeply treasure.
I’m excited to connect with fellow PMPs and share insights, experiences, and ideas to continue advancing in this ever-evolving profession. All the best in 2025.
