👋 Hello PMI community!

My name is Pascual Bernad de Castro, and I’m an architect, BIM consultant, and project manager. I founded BEAR Architecture Durable & BIM Management, a Geneva-based studio focused on sustainability, project management, and the digital transformation of the AEC sector through BIM methodologies.

🧒🏼 As a child, I dreamed of building things and was fascinated by nature. That early passion still guides my professional path: transforming spaces with conscious design, digital tools, and a long-term environmental vision.

📦 My favorite project management tools and frameworks include:

Hybrid Kanban boards combining agile and predictive approaches.

The PMBOK® Guide – Seventh Edition as a flexible, value-oriented reference.

Integration of Revit, Synchro 4D, and PowerBI to align planning, modeling, and decision-making.

📌 What drew me to project management was its ability to merge strategic thinking, human leadership, and measurable outcomes. What keeps me here is the challenge of generating real value in complex projects while fostering collaboration across disciplines.

🤝 I’m currently looking to connect with architects, engineers, and professionals across the AEC sector — both in Switzerland and internationally — to explore collaborations and synergies that can improve architectural processes and strengthen the role of architecture as a key contributor to sustainability in our societies.

I'm happy to join this community and look forward to learning, exchanging ideas, and connecting with fellow professionals.

Warm regards from Geneva 🇨🇭.

Pascual

Hi Pascual Bernad de Castro, welcome to PMI's online community!

We look forward to learning from you as well.

Yogesh Wadhwa Panchkula, HR, India

Hi, I’m Yogesh Wadhwa — currently working as a Lead Engineer (Maintenance Planner) at Quest Global, where I support maintenance planning for Oil & Gas refineries. With over 9 years of experience spanning project execution, shutdown management, and utility installations, I’ve had the honor of contributing to complex operations across fertilizer, petrochemical, and process plants.

🛠️ What sparked my journey? As a child, I was endlessly curious about how things worked. I dreamed of becoming an engineer — not just someone who fixes machines, but someone who keeps vital systems running, even when the pressure’s on. Today, I’m living that dream — working hands-on with rotating equipment, pipelines, and essential utilities that keep industries moving.

📅 Toolbox I rely on daily:

Primavera P6 – for precise shutdown planning

SAP PM Module – to streamline maintenance workflows

MS Excel & PowerPoint – for clear, insightful dashboards & reports

🚀 Why project management? There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a plan come to life — from design to execution — through teamwork, timelines, and technical precision. This path has shaped me, teaching resilience, calm under pressure, and leadership in motion.

🏗️ A few proud milestones:

Commissioned a 200TR cooling tower with zero disruption

Led overhauls of critical systems including a GE Frame-5 Gas Turbine

Steered early planning of an RO Paddle Dryer project for environmental compliance Each project was more than a task — it was a commitment to safety, sustainability, and seamless execution under live plant conditions.

🌱 What defines me beyond the role? Consistency. Growth. Staying grounded during transitions — both personal and professional. I’m proud of the person I’ve become through every challenge.

Let’s connect if you're passionate about engineering innovation, sustainable solutions, and building high-impact systems. I’m here to learn, grow, and contribute. Let’s build something meaningful — together.

Prem M PM | CSM | Consultant | Firmware Engineer | Full Stack Dev| Vitesse Software

Hi,

I'm Prem - I’ve been a software engineer for over 25 years - initially firmware / embedded software, and later full stack.

As a project manager / CSM, I realise how much there is yet to learn and that PM is not a one-size-fits-all endeavour. But whilst there is rigour and much benefit from established processes / methodologies, I've come to see that PM should be dynamic, flexible, and adaptable depending on the nature of the team, the project, and so much more.

I'm currently undertaking a Master in Management, and my research topic (something I have a vested interest in) is the field of project management for small teams.

Looking forward to learning from you all.

Taitawip Thirapongphaiboon IT Business Relationship Manager (TH/VN/IDC)| Reckitt (Global FMCG) Bangkok, 10, Thailand

Hello PMI Community!

I’m Taitawip (Zhèng) Thirapongphaiboon, currently serving as an IT&D Business Relationship Manager for Thailand and Vietnam at Reckitt. With a background that bridges architecture, AI, and enterprise IT, I’ve spent the last few years leading digital transformation initiatives across SEA and driving automation, AI adoption, and business intelligence at scale.

But what truly sparked my interest in Project Management was a recurring question I kept facing in my work:
“Why do some project issues keep happening and do we really have the right methodology to handle them?”

That curiosity led me to PMI and the PMP framework. Even something as seemingly simple as a project charter has transformed how I align stakeholders and secure early buy-in. It’s been a game-changer.

What I hope to learn here:
I’m eager to explore how PMI’s principles contribute to individual success, not just in large-scale programs, but in everyday decision-making and team collaboration. I’d love to hear how others have applied these tools beyond the textbook, in real-world, human-centered ways.

My proudest moments?
- Leading award-winning IT transformations for Thailand
- Saving thousands of man-hours through AI and RPA
- Mentoring cross-functional teams to break silos and build smarter systems

I’m here to grow, share, and connect with like-minded professionals who believe in the power of structured thinking and continuous learning.

Looking forward to learning from all of you!

Diego Jacobi Electronic Engineer | Specialized in Manufacturing | Aerospace QA Engineer| ISISPACE Delft, ZH, Netherlands

Hello All,

I'm Diego, Electronic Engineer with years of Manufacturing-related experience.

I worked in the south of Argentina for many years close to a place called of "The End of the World", and I am now living in the Netherlands.

-What did you want to be when you were growing up?
I wanted to be the best version of myself. It turns out to be a never ending objective :D

-What are your favorite project management tools and technologies? Or ones that you’d like to learn more about?
I love the tailor process to the needs. I permanently observe companies bloated with costly processes that don't make any value, and software that seem to work against people. Simplify to scale up, Simplify for sanity, Simplify for taking care of your people.

-What drew you to the project management industry? What's kept you in it?
I worked as NPI and shortly in a PMO, and I want to certify that knowledge, so I paid for the exam and studyhall.

-What's your proudest accomplishment (personal or professional)?
I have developed a very broad and multidisciplinary skillset, due to have lived in very unstable economy and a highly competitive country, which I don't observe in others of my own edge. This accomplishment has shown to be very hard to sell.

I am still adapting to the Netherlands and would like to met with more PMP professionals and share some thoughts and time.

Ruben Oyatey Roll-Out Manager| Batitech Ltd Accra, Ghana

Greeting to all in the community. My name is Oyatey Ruben from Ghana, West Africa. I am currently the Roll-Out Manager for Batitech Ltd a partner to Huawei Technologies Ghana Ltd that undertake Telecommunication Infrastructure projects including RAN and WAN.
I have always had a dream from infancy to be an Engineer without any specific field. After completing Electrical Engineering I found myself in a Telecom industry where I grew to the level of managing projects and getting to know about Project Management.

I have fallen in love with Project Management and have been in practice for over a decade. The joy comes with seeing a successful completion of any project I undertake as I know it goes a long way to make people happy by delivering value. My happiness in what I do is when I see multiple people happy out of the delivered project.

I would wish to learn about new tools and technologies as I believe that would be able to transform me to go international. There is the need for collaboration with others globally.

DANKE
