Hi everyone!

I'm Veronica Hart, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over 20 years of corporate finance and accounting experience and a passion for finance technology and process improvement.

Most recently, I served as a finance functional lead for a multi-phase SAP S/4HANA ERP implementation spanning over 18 months, partnering closely with consultants, the PMO, engineering, and a range of finance stakeholders. That experience sparked my interest in formalizing my project management training.

I'm currently studying for the PMP exam and looking forward to becoming a more effective PM in my next role—whether it’s leading a fintech implementation, accelerating the month-end close, or driving other cross-functional initiatives. Excited to learn from this community and connect with others on a similar path!

Hello Veronica, welcome to PMI's online community! Wishing you all the best on your PMP journey. We're looking forward to learning from you as well!

PMI Columbia, United States
Hi everyone! I’m Kathleen Walch, Director of AI Engagement & Community at PMI. I’m thrilled to be part of this vibrant project management community and to help shape how AI is embraced across our profession.

What Did You Want to Be When You Were Growing Up?
Growing up, I always dreamed of being a business owner. I was fascinated by the idea of building something from the ground up and making an impact. That entrepreneurial spirit has stayed with me throughout my career—and it’s one of the reasons I’m so passionate about innovation and community building today.

Favorite Project Management Tools & Technologies
I’m a big fan of tools that make collaboration seamless and project tracking smarter. Some of my favorites include:

-PMI Infinity – I’m especially excited about this one! It’s a powerful AI-driven platform that’s transforming how project professionals access knowledge and insights.
-ChatGPT – I use ChatGPT regularly to brainstorm ideas, summarize documents, and even help draft communications. It’s true augmented intelligence allowing me to have a creative and analytical partner on call whenever I need.
-Miro – Great for visual collaboration and brainstorming with distributed teams.

What Drew You to the Project Management Profession? What’s Kept You in It?
I actually began my career in marketing, but I quickly found myself drawn to the structure and strategy of project management. That path led me to start a few businesses of my own, where I wore many hats—including project manager!

Now, I’ve come full circle. After co-founding Cognilytica, an AI-focused research and advisory firm, we were acquired by PMI in September 2024. It’s been incredibly rewarding to return to the project management space—this time with a focus on how AI can empower and transform project professionals around the world.

Proudest Accomplishments
Personal: Raising two amazing children who inspire me every day.
Professional: Co-creating the CPMAI methodology and leading Cognilytica through a successful acquisition by PMI. It’s been a journey of innovation, resilience, and community—and I’m proud to now be part of the PMI team helping lead the AI transformation of project management and the project management of AI transformations.

Renjith K. Jose Management| Arrow Electronics Bangalore, India
Of my overall experience of 25+ years, I have 13+ years of progressive experience spanning over two leading Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in India, Arrow Electronics and General Electric. In addition to this, I have experience in ERP Product Development in Oracle and in ERP Consulting through Infosys and experience in Business Finance function and Audit as well.

I have been fortunate to be part of GCC evolution in India and witnessed GCCs evolving from centers of cost arbitrage to delivering strategic digital business transformation projects across the globe for the parent entity with me playing a key role.

I excel in incubating, developing, mentoring and transforming teams in the Global Capability Center (GCCs) context aligned with and furthering the Corporate strategic direction.

As a people manager, I take keen interest in developing my team members to realize their true potential and I find joy and fulfillment in nurturing high potential team members and leadership talent. I have an abiding interest in the principles and practice of servant leadership and try to put them into practice in my own humble ways, needless to say I invariably fall short every single time, though the renewed intent and efforts always remain intact.

I offer international work experience and have worked in various geographies and have travelled to customer/business locations in Australia, Hong Kong, France, United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, Puerto Rico, Taiwan and United States and have developed abiding and fruitful working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Collaborating with global teams and CXOs across the globe are my unique forte placing due emphasis on varied cultural flavors and sensitivities.

An ardent fan of legendary singer songwriter Leonard Cohen, I run a Facebook fan group dedicated to his poetry and music named Leonard Cohen: Diamonds in the mind.

Addis Workneh Project Manager| International Livestock Research Institute Addis Ababa, AA, Ethiopia

Greetings Everyone, I'm Addis. My background is rooted in business administration, accounting, and supply chain management, and I bring over 15 years of experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder development and research projects across Ethiopia and internationally. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with esteemed institutions such as ILRI, Save the Children International, and Johns Hopkins University, focusing on project planning, grant management, donor compliance, and strategic portfolio alignment.

Currently, I serve as a Project Manager at the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), where I oversee a diverse portfolio of programs that contribute to sustainable development and One Health initiatives. Alongside this, I’m pursuing a master's degree in project management to deepen my expertise and further align with global best practices.
Interestingly, my transition into project management wasn’t entirely deliberate—what began as an analytical and administrative role evolved into a dynamic career that constantly challenges me. I thrive in fast-paced, multidimensional environments, and I find deep satisfaction in building collaborative relationships and turning complex tasks into clear, achievable actions.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about continuous learning and professional development. I enjoy exploring health topics, analyzing strategic frameworks, and refining communication styles to foster impactful interactions. I also appreciate good conversation and fresh ideas.

Looking forward to connecting, sharing, and growing with you all.

Sunbeam Rahman Calgary, Canada

Hi everyone. I am Sunbeam, and I am glad to be here.

I am a GIS professional with over 12 years of experience. I recently completed my second master’s degree - an MGIS from the University of Calgary. Currently, I’m working on a research project focused on the cryosphere, climate change, and Chinook wind.

Leading a research project has always been a personal goal, and I feel like I’m finally on that path. I’m also preparing for the CAPM exam, which I hope will pave the way toward PMP certification and other similar credentials.

Over the past decade, I’ve worked closely with farmers in Bangladesh—listening to their stories while sitting with them in their fields, and learning how climate change has affected their lives. I’ve had the privilege of reflecting on their experiences through my work on various development projects and research initiatives. This remains my proudest accomplishment.
