Hello, PMI Community!
My name is Rodrigo Silva Soares Ferreira, and I'm a Product Analyst at Ford Motor Company. I also volunteer with the Project Management Institute.
As a child, I wanted to be a scientist. Today, I see my work in project management as the realization of that dream—transforming complex ideas into tangible results. The constant challenge and learning keep me in the field.
My favorite project management tool is Miro because of its strong visual and collaborative features. I’m also skilled with Jira and Trello. I’m eager to learn more about data analysis tools like Power BI and Tableau to enhance strategic decision-making.
A defining part of my journey is being a wheelchair user. This has taught me that planning, resilience, and adaptability are crucial for overcoming obstacles in life and in any project.
I'm excited to connect and learn with all of you.
Hi Rodrigo, welcome to PMI's online community! It's so great to learn more about you. I look forward to seeing you around the online community! Saving Changes...

Hello everyone!
I recently obtained my certification and am excited to grow deeper into this community. After managing projects for years in my role as VP of a small insurance and financial services firm I’m ready to stretch my legs!
Does anyone have advice for me on how I can get into a more PM centric role in this tough job market? I’m open to and am currently adding more skills and certifications to bolster up my appeal. 😁 Currently I’m knee deep in Monday certification. What an awesome tool!
I’m excited to have joined the Washington, DC chapter and I look forward to networking and getting to know more PM professionals at events locally.
I appreciate any and all words of wisdom and tips you have!
Best wishes,
Amy

Hello Parag Bhake, welcome to PMI's online community!
My name is Celia Tatenda Rukato and I am the managing director at Chjaa Enterprises Private Limited, a textile design and print manufacturing company based in Harare, Zimbabwe.
Growing up I wanted to be a plastic surgeon, however, as I grew old I learned that I may not be able to cope as one.
My favourite types of tools are task and resource management tools. The project management industry drew me in because of the nature of the work I do. I have remained because I want to run and grow my business to be able to compete not only locally but globally.
My proudest moment has been starting my business and staying the course despite challenges and difficulties.

Douglas DarkwaPM Consultant| MEST AfricaAccra, AA, Ghana
Hi everyone, my name is Douglas Kwabena Frimpong Darkwa, and I currently work as an Assistant Community Manager at MEST Africa, where I manage projects like the UNICEF Startup Lab and UNDP YAI. Alongside this, I also lead a media team and have a background in project management, content creation, and IT risk consulting.
When I was growing up, I wanted to become an engineer because I was always fascinated by how things work and how they could be built better. Over time, I found my way into project management, which gave me the opportunity to combine structure, creativity, and impact.
My favorite project management tools include Trello, Click Up and Jira, but I’m also keen on diving deeper into Agile-focused tools and advanced data analytics for project reporting.
What drew me into project management was the opportunity to create meaningful impact by turning ideas into reality through structure and collaboration. What’s kept me in it is the fulfillment of seeing teams and startups I work with succeed.
One of my proudest accomplishments has been managing over 20 projects and supporting 5 startups in a single year, as well as building experiences that empower young innovators across Africa.
I’m excited to connect, share experiences, and learn from you all!
