BIM is a great asset to Construction Projects. It helps reduce change orders, clashes and discrepancies significantly.

Yes, Faisal.

BIM is also in some countries like Singapore mandated by governments and construction companies have to be compliant.

BIM in my view enables seamless communication between the many stakeholders of a construction projects and provides the possibility of a single point of thruth.

And philosophically, BIM establishes a digital twin of the project product, statically (as with 3D models) and also dynamically, how the products develop over time, during the design and construction projects and beyond into operations and decommissioning. It supports sustainability.

In this philosophical aspect, I can imagine that BIM can be used in other industries too.

Though there are endless possibilities for AI in construction management to unfold, integration with Generative AI makes BIM more collaborative and accessible to wider stakeholders.
