Can GenAI help in P&ID and PFD development when criterium are defined?

Generative AI is used to generate new data with similar characteristics to training data. Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) enables exactly what you are asking for.

I'm sure however machine learning and genetic algorithms could be applied to or used similar to SysML models. There are also much simpler ways to do that manually, however it is more difficult and time consuming to vary many parameters to test the system outputs.

I totally agree with, Keith's feedback. Personally, I believe at some point, AI will be able to do so.
