Pour illustrer, l'on a construit un palais au début du 19 ème siècle en Haïti, mais les méthodes de construction utilisées ont été jugées inconciliables. Pourtant, en 1982, le Conseil international des Monuments et Sites de l'UNESCO classait ce palais comme un patrimoine de l'humanité et qualifie le Palais de Sans-Souci de Milot de bizarre beauté », due non seulement à un accord exceptionnel avec le site montagneux mais aussi au recours à des modèles architecturaux divers et réputés inconciliables ». Ceci dit cela apporte une créativité faisant de ce palais un projet unique.
Maintenant, comment faire pour savoir quand l'erreur serait bénéfique à un projet ou aurait facilité la créativité ou l'innovation? Saving Changes...
Pour reprendre la catégorisation d'Amy Edmonson, si l'erreur pouvait être considérée "intelligente", ce sont des voyages réfléchis dans des territoires inconnus et dont nous apprenons quelque chose d'utile.

Yes, most innovation comes from deviation from rules and planning and even defies rationality. Eureka!
In construction, a very costly industry, the examples are manifold.
For the Hamburg Philharmony, they 'discovered' that they should hang the concert room inside the building. Which was not planned, approved and funded.
Hirschman wrote about the principle of the hiding hand, when we build something under lots of (wrong) assumptions and pains, and in the end it serves us well for totally different purposes.
