Dear Project Management community,

I'm currently engaged in an exciting research endeavor involving the development of a custom conversational Large Language Model (LLM). This advanced tool is designed to offer interactive capabilities, initially through text-based communication and in a second stage through natural language processing.

For this project, I'm looking at 3 to 5 projects where I can integrate project-related documents into the LLM for dynamic interaction and analysis. The goal is to understand how the LLM can aid in project management tasks and decision-making processes and reports.

I'm specifically looking for projects that encompass a comprehensive range of project management documents, including:

1. Project Charter
2. Project Management Plan
3. Stakeholder Register
4. Scope Statement
5. Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
6. Risk Register
7. Resource Management Plan
8. Communication Management Plan
9. Project Schedule
10. Cost Management Plan
11. Quality Management Plan
12. Procurement Management Plan
13. Change Management Plan
14. Project Closure Document

If you're aware of any public or collaborative projects that include these types of documents (ideally the complete set), your input would be invaluable. Your contributions will not only aid in this research but also provide you with an opportunity to test the results on first hand.

Your help and insights into this research are highly appreciated.

Thank you in advance,
Ivan

Ivan -

It might make sense to train the model on the project data from a single organization or even a single portfolio from a single organization given that context counts and having inferences drawn from very different projects might not be helpful.

Having offered that, I might also suggest checking federal government websites as certain countries do provide (under freedom of information acts) access to such documents for their high visibility projects.

Dear Ivan,

I've included comprehensive sets of project management documents for you, which could benefit your research in developing a custom conversational Large Language Model (LLM) for project management.

Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) - Project Management Guide: WSDOT offers a Project Management Guide with resources supporting best practices in project management. It covers the five project management process groups. While it does not explicitly list all the documents you mentioned, it provides a framework and resources that align with many.

University of Chicago - Project Management Office: The University of Chicago’s Project Management Office lists various templates and resources for different phases of project management. These include the Project Charter, Project Management Plan, and other relevant documents. This resource could be handy as it covers various documents throughout the project phases.

These resources can provide a comprehensive set of project management documents encompassing the various elements you want to integrate into your LLM for dynamic interaction and analysis. They offer a blend of theoretical frameworks and practical templates that could be instrumental in understanding how the LLM can aid in project management tasks and decision-making processes.

For your project, consider contacting these organizations or exploring their online resources to see if they can provide access to more detailed documents or if they have ongoing projects that align with your research goals.

BR,

Markus
