we're a small software company, but highly growing.
At the moment we're using JIRA as a ticketing system and using also Greenhopper there. Ressource Planning is at the moment our biggest problem. I try to use Excel as simplest overview tool, but this doesn't merge with JIRA and so on.
Can anybody recommend a good resource tool in best case working together with JIRA?
the best case would be:
- creating a project in JIRA, assign tickets, estimate time
- this project is synched with the resource planning software so I can see the progress when a developer logs time on a JIRA ticket
- when a developer gets interrupted of support cases the resource planning tool must give me a note (e.g. red light in the detail view)
How are you working with resource planning and ticket handling?
