I would be interested to know how Microsoft and Oracle will build AI to utilize PMBOK techniques to schedule resources based on certain constraints.

This is really interesting. I think Microsoft will use the power of OpenAI and integrate it with Microsoft projects to introduce a new powerful software.

Ahmed, with regards to Project Scheduling, I believe AI will have many advantages such as:
1. Enhanced Efficiency: AI algorithms can quickly analyze vast amounts of data, optimize schedules/resources, and predict potential issues, saving time and resources. 2. Increased Accuracy: AI can make more precise predictions, considering various factors and dependencies, leading to more accurate schedules and resource allocation. 3. Adaptability: It can dynamically adjust schedules based on real-time data, accommodating changes, unexpected delays, or new priorities effectively which will enhance decision making. 4. Optimization: AI can find the most efficient scheduling solutions by considering multiple constraints and objectives simultaneously. 5. Decision Support: AI provides valuable insights and recommendations, aiding project managers in making informed decisions for better scheduling strategies. 6. Risk Management: It helps in identifying and mitigating risks by analyzing historical data and predicting potential risks that might affect the project schedule. Just trying to add something to comments above let me say that from long time ago some tools are using AI to run things like Montecarlo simulations, including it some tools that were free of cost in the past. Additional you can find free libraries in R or Python to make scheduling simulation.
