Certificate Suspension

Do you think PMI should charge you before reinstating your certification after suspension?

I'm assuming you mean above and beyond the normal renewal fees? If so, I don't think that's a good idea - PMI charges a hefty amount for renewals as it is so further penalizing folks financially who are able to get the required PDUs in four rather than three years is cruel. As it is, they can't claim to hold the credential during that suspension period so that is penalty enough.

I do totally agree with Kiron’s point of view. I’ve seen this question recently and I don’t think it makes sense to charge additional amounts for situations like these especially that there is no extra overhead on PMIs end for suspending a credential.
