Just getting started, but developing uses cases for Gen and non-Gen AI. Looking forward to the outcomes and implementation.

Great question; however, I am transitioning from higher education to focus more on working in a PMO. When I left my former role, AI was just coming into play in the higher education arena and most of the focus was on student use and ethical practices. AI has come a long way since 2023 and I am only scratching the surface in my learning practice.

This is a great question. I work for a large company with very legacy systems and risk-aversion. As such, I am developing AI knowledge and skills on my own, but the company itself hasn't yet started preparing for this. At least I'll be ahead of the curve!

My company definitely is, but not so much my department or function group. I look forward to reading the comments from others to learn more about their readiness for Generative AI.

Dear Claudia,

Absolutely. At our organization, we've begun integrating Copilot to support structured documentation, compliance workflows, and mentorship resource development. To ensure readiness for working with Generative AI data, we’ve implemented the following protocols:
Governance Checklist: We assess data sensitivity, model alignment with regulatory frameworks (e.g., FCA, GDPR), and ethical boundaries before deploying Gen AI tools.
Workflow Mapping: Each use case—whether it's refining institutional documents or translating cultural blessings—is mapped against operational KPIs to ensure Gen AI adds measurable value.
Human-in-the-Loop Review: Outputs from Copilot are reviewed by domain experts to maintain clarity, cultural resonance, and compliance integrity.
Impact Scorecards: We track Gen AI contributions across productivity, accessibility, and stakeholder engagement to refine our integration strategy.
Sandbox Testing: New prompts and workflows are piloted in controlled environments before full deployment, especially in software and app developments

Dear Claudia, thank you for this excellent discussion. In my organization, I witness a slow procession of AI adoption. We are trying to:
- Automate repetitive tasks.
- Prompt for insights to develop project proposals, planning ...
ect.

Hi Claudia, thank you. As a mater of fact, I did a post last week on my LinkedIn as to how we can utilize AI in the construction industry because AI can add lots of value if properly utilized on Construction Projects. Some of those benefits include:

1) Predictive Analytics: Using AI algorithms to forecast timelines, material requirements, and potential risks, optimizing planning and scheduling.

2) Computer Vision and Drones: AI-powered drones equipped with cameras to monitor construction sites, track progress, and identify safety hazards.

3) Generative Design: Create and optimize designs based on project requirements, site conditions, and material constraints, enhancing efficiency and reducing waste.

4) Quality Control: AI-powered systems to inspect materials, identify defects, and ensure compliance with building codes and standards.

5) Autonomous Equipment: Integrating AI into construction machinery for autonomous operation, improving efficiency and safety on site.

6) Supply Chain Management: Using AI to optimize supply chain logistics, predicting material needs, and streamlining procurement processes.

7) Smart Project Management: Leveraging AI-driven platforms for better project management, collaboration, and decision-making driven by data insights.
i strongly agree, with this, thanks for the insight

As far as specific checklist, no... I believe that the great thing about conducting PMP work is just as you refine data sets to assist in problems. So, you should refine your work process and organizational specific documentation. I do believe in standardization as this helps keep processes lean and assist in avoiding scope creep when applying new techniques and technologies. In reading the comments I think that having a format that is scalable seems like a valid approach that will allow modularity to the task at hand but also aid in avoiding paralysis by analysis.

I train my model with specific templates and forms. I feed GPT information about my project, estimates, scope, business case, stakeholders, etc. The output saves me a lot of time doing the administrative work.
I train the model on specific status report templates.
I also train the model to help create user stories to help me break down the scope of the project into smaller, more manageable tasks.
