Are you utilizing any specific checklists or protocols within your projects or company to assess your readiness for working with Generative AI data? I'm curious to know what strategies or tools you've implemented to prepare for integrating Gen AI into your workflows. Please share your approaches in the comments below! Saving Changes...
Dear Claudia, I haven't actually had the opportunity to develop any projects using AI yet. I'm currently updating my skills and learning, and I'd like to start using this powerful tool. I'd also like to know which tools are most commonly used and how they are applied. Best regards. Saving Changes...

Just getting started in Gen AI, working to see how it might benefit the varied IT infrastructure projects I have done in the past.
Claudia, this is a great question and I'm happy that you proposed it after watching the GenAI and Data Landscape Course. In previous roles I have found a lot of success with Microsoft Planner, part of the Microsoft 360 programs. I think they recently (within the last year or 2) did a revamp on the platform and it has new features, but it was very helpful for automating communications across teams of 10-15 and ensuring that everyone had visibility into projects and programs. The Cons: Team members are responsible for updating so it can be difficult to get an idea of where projects are at when it is not kept up to date.

Wouldn't that Con be something that happens regardless of whether you use AI or not? I personally disagree as that being a Con.

The system for some reason posted my reply twice, so instead of deleting this one (I do not know how to do so anyways in this forum), I am going to ask a question. Would those of you who utilize more intensely AI recommend taking courses on Data Science? If yes, which courses do you recommend, especially for beginners in the field?

For the Columbia Shelter Project for BC Housing, I used a check list specific for that project and I led a structured project risk management process focused on a high-impact scope element that presented significant risks to health and safety, regulatory compliance, cost, and schedule. The risk exposure affected not only the sub-trades but also the prime contractor, design consultants, and the project owner (BC Housing). A critical risk was identified based on the Hazmat (Hazardous Materials) report, which indicated a high probability of asbestos presence within the affected scope. This finding represented a major risk trigger with potentially severe consequences, including work stoppage, remediation costs, schedule delays, and regulatory non-compliance. In response, I conducted both qualitative and quantitative risk analyses in alignment with PMI risk management practices, evaluating probability, impact, and overall risk severity. The results confirmed that the risk level exceeded the project’s risk tolerance. Based on the analysis, I developed a detailed risk response strategy supported by a comprehensive technical report. The recommended response was risk avoidance, achieved through a complete revision of the impacted scope of work. The analysis demonstrated that proceeding with the original scope would expose the project to unacceptable risk. I formally presented the risk assessment, response strategy, and supporting data during a multi-stakeholder site meeting. Following review and discussion, the project team and BC Housing approved the proposed scope change. This decision eliminated the identified risk, safeguarded project objectives, and delivered measurable value to all stakeholders while ensuring compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations. Currently there are not specific protocols or checklists in use. However, GenAI is used by some for meeting transcription and summaries. Considering other implementation opportunities. Saving Changes...

I am currently unemployed, nevertheless curious and focused on continuous learning, thanks to PMI.
