Claudia, this is a great question. However, given the nature of what we do as consultants, we haven't yet started preparing for this but would be very interested to see what other professionals and organizations are doing!
I would say that there are checklists, within AI and automation projects. If the project business case is accepted the AI and automation checklists are focusing on existing data lake, the required processing capacity, the connections' bandwidth, the port security restrictions, the type of automation, the best models to be used, the external provided bots' usage restriction, aligned to the project budget. Additionally, embedded products like, MATE, ENABLE, EDNA, SQM or automation Dashboards, come with specific prerequisites and checklists.

Currently at this time given the nature of my current role I have not had the opportunity to dabble in the AI arena however, I’m using this training and other opportunities to obtain the knowledge and broad perspective of how AI works in the hopes of incorporating it into my everyday task.

At this time, AI has not been directly implemented on my current project. There are some limitations of its usage within the organization.

As a project consultant and business owner I am determined to stay current in all things relevant to supporting project success.
This Generative AI training so far has been excellent.
My concern is when asking clients about their engagement with AI -- they say they do not have time for such learning nor time to engage with it at work. This is a red flag -- that many project managers will not be able to lead their organizations on all things AI for the furture. Many will be rushing to learn the minimum information last minute to just stay employable. We witnissed this with the PMP. Resisting, Delaying, until ... mandated

This behavior is noted specifically from the certification acquisition point of view.

Note -- there are certain individuals showing an assertive approach to learning that cannot be said for all in the industry. This is a red flag in my opinion. Or ... maybe this is actually the measure of the 20% doing 80% of the heavy lifting.
