Claudia, this is a great question. However, given the nature of what we do as consultants, we haven't yet started preparing for this but would be very interested to see what other professionals and organizations are doing!

While we don’t yet have a formalized checklist specifically for Generative AI, we are building readiness through a structured framework that includes key protocols:

Policy Review and Development:
We are reviewing existing academic and administrative policies to address ethical considerations, data security, and intellectual property concerns related to Generative AI. This ensures our institution remains compliant with relevant regulations and respects data privacy.

Risk Assessment Protocols:
Our IT and academic leadership teams are developing guidelines to evaluate the reliability and biases of AI-generated outputs. We’re exploring tools to audit AI models, ensuring their application aligns with our educational goals and quality standards.

Capacity Building and Training:
Faculty and staff are being introduced to Generative AI tools through workshops and training sessions. The goal is to build confidence in identifying potential applications in curriculum development, administrative efficiency, and student engagement.

Pilot Testing and Feedback Loops:
We’ve started piloting Generative AI tools in limited-use cases, such as automating course outlines or drafting administrative reports. These pilots include robust feedback loops to assess outcomes and refine protocols before scaling up.

Hi -- at this time m y organization is beginning to investigate and use different LLMs through targeted user groups. I'm part of a hybrid business-technical team with heavy reliance on data and processes associated with the data usage. I think my focus would be on how to enhance complex processes with data integration.

We had a project to conduct employee training on phishing emails. On a workload, we integrated GenAI to generate customized phishing emails ( real world sounding situations, real world sounding emails, and words to train the employees) instead of the standard ones. It is one thing to know the theory but another to practice to be aware of phishing emails and not click on suspicious links. The emails looked real so employees could practice recognizing these attempts in a safe environment.

Yes, we have implemented specific checklists and protocols to assess our readiness for working with Generative AI data. Our approach includes evaluating data quality, security, and compliance requirements before integrating AI into our workflows. We also conduct pilot tests to ensure the AI model aligns with our business objectives. Additionally, we utilize tools for bias detection, model explainability, and continuous monitoring to maintain accuracy and reliability. I'd love to hear about any best practices you've found effective in your AI integration process.

At the moment, we aren't actively operating with Generative AI in our projects or organizations. However, we recognize the capacity cost it could bring and are within the early levels of exploring a way to prepare for its integration. While we haven't implemented unique checklists or protocols yet, we are specializing in the subsequent regions to construct readiness:
Research and Awareness: We're staying knowledgeable approximately fine practices, moral concerns, and industry requirements for using Generative AI responsibly.
Infrastructure Assessment: We are evaluating our cutting-edge generation stack to identify any capability gaps in compatibility for Destiny AI implementation.
Team Capability Building: We're exploring training options to upskill our group in AI-related ideas, ensuring we're organized when the time comes to adopt such technologies.
Although we are still in the planning segment, we look forward to learning from others' stories and gaining insights into powerful strategies and gear for working with Generative AI in the future.
