Hello, I qualified under the 6th edition of the PMBOK and I am looking to read the 7th edition of the PMBOK so that I am up to date on the latest. Will such reading qualfy for PDUs? If so, does anyone know if there is a limit to the number of PDUs that can be claimed from reading (especially given that people read at different speeds)?

Yes, reading a PM-related book is a PDU eligible activity. You would claim 1 PDU per hour of reading and you should take notes or keep a journal of what you've learned as evidence of the reading activity. There is no limit (that I'm aware of) for this category.
