Raghuram, there is a new free course by PMI called: Generative AI Overview for Project Managers. I would highly recommend you take this course. Go to your PMI Account, then go to PMI Store and you will find it there then purchase it (it will be for free) and then you will find it in your library. This is a great starter course.

As Rami stated, PMI.org has a lot of good information. They also have their Gen AI called Project Infinity: AI Assistant (pmi.org). I would also recommend looking at YouTube for various ChatGPT tutorials, specifically for how to craft good prompts, there's more to it than you would think.
As for ideas on how it can help, just remember that Gen AI is great at analyzing large amounts of data and making recommendations based on that data, what it can't do is make leaps in logic or address outliers, that's where your experience comes in. It can also easily miss the specifics of your company culture since it is basing its answers off of generic standards, so you will need to account for that as well.
If you think of Gen AI as an Intern and then think about what tasks you would be able to assign to an Intern to make your life easier, you should have a good idea of what Gen AI can do to help you in your daily job. Just remember that, like with an Intern, anything that Gen AI creates for you will still need to be reviewed and edited for accuracy since it will be your name that is associated with it.
