From my end, I plan on the following:
1) Attend a few conferences (in-person and virtual)
2) Dive more into the world of AI.
3) Renew couple of my credentials which are due to expire of which one requires to re-sit for the exam to recertify.
4) Read few books related to interpersonal skills.
5) Attend a few webinars and seminars.
6) I might consider taking on 1 more credential but this is a "Could Have" item in my backlog right now.
1. More work travel (US and globally) 2. Earn more money via multiple income streams ( hopefully a raise with promotion at current job and/or through lucrative part-time work, see #5 below) 3. Taking 1 course/semester within the PM Post-Baccleaureate Certificate program at my university employer 4. Self-study to sit for (and pass) the PMP certification exam 5. Have more paid gigs for voice overs, administrative consultant work and more on Upwork.com 6. Attend/volunteer at some PMI seminars and webinars 7. Learn how to better articulate what PM is, it's value, and processes and procedures can be an asset to the field of study abroad, international education, and EdTech 8. Reducing work stress, giving myself more grace when I miss the mark, and being better about only working within the allotted time for work and not beyond for improved work-life balance 9. An official job title change to either Program/Project Manager or Associate Director with an adequately funded salary to match

I have the opportunity this year to lead some advanced technology projects, so I'm focusing my development efforts on learning the enabling technologies to manage those projects.
Last year I was trying to read one professional oriented book a month but that started to lose traction when things got busy so this year I'm changing that to maintain the focus on learning rather than counting books.
This year's development areas include: - Coding skills to better gather data and perform analytics. - Exploring the Office suite to learn advanced capabilities and integrating the information between programs. - Improving my statistics skills for analytics - Exploring other tools for team collaboration and PM specific functions including AI. - Learning about wireless technologies to facilitate some Lean improvements. - Refining my resume to better align with high-demand skills in managing technology projects
It sounds like a lot, but those directly affect my current work so it's part of my day job rather than a side gig.br type="_moz"
Keith, it's great to see another PMP delving into improving software development skills. In my case, I am looking also into being a Citizen Developer and use no-code/low code solutions for managing my projects.

Karla, although I come from a non-IT background, I do find Citizen Developer and using NCLC to be very interesting and beneficial. Good luck with your plans!

I am targeting two certs Risk and PM (PRINCE2 and Agile).
Get back into social impact volunteering, perhaps focus on a more global.
Pick up my reading habit, fallen back a little over this and a half, a lot to catch up on.
Do more technical and hard skills refreshers, besides a more general reading and update per usual around performance domains, complexity and risk are two of my prime issues this year, AI in PM:
- Improve prompt eng skills,
- Improve editing skills for more better quality outputs,
- Improve my creative skills/capabilities to format output into effective messages so a bit of work on communications
Just more generally work on the talent triangle.

Tawanda, thanks for sharing your plans with us. Very ambitious targets - I did enjoy the PRINCE 2 Agile Practitioner, and really did find it to be very valuable as it provides you with the best of the two worlds: Agility plus Command and Control at certain gate checks. Good Luck!
