Have you experienced wonderful, potentially unexpected successes using Generative AI in your projects?

I'm eager to hear about the innovative outcomes you've achieved with Gen AI, and how data played a role in these ventures.

What challenges did you encounter, and what benefits did you realize in this process?

Hello Claudia, I have been using AI tools to create articles, pictures and concepts in visual form. I feel they are a good platform to test one's ideas as well. I have found success in getting more of the article idea and able to write faster and better.

However, I am careful not to take everything that appears there. So I sort of read the content by AI and then use only what I feel is necessary.

I've found success using GenAI tools in writing and table generation. The key - as noted in every reference ever - is the quality of the prompt. Playing around with prompts - from the voice of, to the audience of, etc - offers more elements to consider when writing on my end. It's like having an infinite set of perspectives to try on and yes, I understand the limitations of GenAI tools re bias, hallucinations, etc. Nevertheless, if you go into GenAI with all of these limitations in mind you can, in my opinion, expand your writing skills. It's like going from version 1 to version 7 in less than 2 mins which is super efficient. I don't blindly accept GenAI output, everything gets reviewed and I pull bits and pieces out that fit into my writing. As for table creation, I like how GenAI shifts how I might view data presentation.

I use ChatGPT and Microsoft Co-pilot quite frequently now, sometimes for work reasons mainly around generating early drafts of reports, and for personal reasons to find out how to do things with certain software, how to repair devices, and even getting medical information such as physio exercises for specific conditions.

The response time is quite amazing, really, and the conversational nature of the interface allows for a back and forth that is quite different from using a search engine, which takes each and every query as something new, and is littered with sponsored "finds", meaning you are not getting the best research results, simply the results someone has paid for - much like a commercial.

I haven't used it to generate code, but I have used it to solve issues with Elegoo circuit boards and plugins. It helped much more than the sparse instruction manual!

GenAi is getting better, and will continue to do so. I look forward to drastically increased use, especially as we ramp up data insights, intelligent water and digital twins at our organization.

I use GenAI to gather cybersecurity program management, projects lessons learned and analyze the results for continuous improvement. In addition, I do the heavy lighting to manage the man-in-the-middle (Chat GPT) for data protection and security of company data CIA.

In a data project utilizing Generative AI, we aimed to enhance image recognition capabilities. Unexpectedly, the generated images not only improved accuracy but also unveiled previously unnoticed patterns in the data. Challenges included data quality and diversity. Benefits included enhanced recognition performance and insights into data patterns, leading to more robust models.

I have been using Generative AI only recently. It has proven to be very helpful for common tasks, like rewriting documents for issues handling and provide clarification, or taking meeting minutes. We will start loading different data to produce more precise documentation and instructions for the team on phases/ issues or iterations to be completed.
Gen AI helps me organize and exchange ideas and collect data in a smooth and easy way. It can also be used in creating messages for the project and in managing projects in general. It also contributes to increasing efficiency and improving performance and has other importance in ways of communication.

Hi! Unfortunately, I haven't been motivated to use AI to automate routine tasks... old fashioned in that way I guess. However I would like to someday use it to role-play in training scenarios.

No success at this time on AI. I am just learning how the process works

I am eager to use Gen AI more in my project management work.

I do programming once in a while for personal projects - and I find that Chat GPT can dish out programming templates based on the latest standards very quickly. They do need to tweaked a bit but are a great starting point as opposed to templates put out by bloggers.
