Have you experienced wonderful, potentially unexpected successes using Generative AI in your projects?

I'm eager to hear about the innovative outcomes you've achieved with Gen AI, and how data played a role in these ventures.

What challenges did you encounter, and what benefits did you realize in this process?

I am just learning about this and i hope to put it to use soon

The best part of Gen AI for me is not having to start from scratch. When writing an email or letter its so much easier to edit something. I like that I am able to give prompts of what I want to say and then based on what AI spits back out, I edit and rewrite in my own voice.
I haven't used GenAI, yet. However, once I learn the basic, I will definitely incorporate it.

I've used it a lot and I'm always on the lookout for new developments in the world of A.I. I'm currently working on an IT service governance project and generative has helped me a lot to develop policies that are more appropriate to the context, analyse large volumes of data and generate valuable insights. It's important for us as project managers to realise that there are a multitude of tools to support different sectors. As an example, I can cite Artificial Intelligence tools that enter meetings and automatically compile all the minutes with a full transcript (in minutes). This is a huge step forward, and if we take advantage of it, we'll reach the highest levels of efficiency.
So... I am commenting as part of requirements in this second PMI Course on AI = Data Landscape of GenAI for Project Managers. Now, I projectize most of my professional and church work (in aviation safety management systems, governance and law and missions). However I am obliged to state that I don't practise formal project management for client nor employer. Furthermore my decision to embrace and harness the power of Gen AI came upon me most unexpectedly, and pretty recently too.
All that to say that I have used Generative AI in my projects, to good success in my endeavours - designing procedures, writing proposals, creating social media posts. I found that the quality of data in the Gen AI I used (not my data nor provided by me - in other words a commercial Gen AI) led to less than desirable outcomes. Understandable and I did review thoroughly since I recognized the shortcoming. I intend to propose partnership with the same commercial provider so that I can introduce my data into its Gen AI and have a Bot to address my professional issues. I acknowledge the value of relevant Data

Gen AI for me is accelerated thinking and innovation catalyst. Ever since its advent, it pushed me beyond limits breaking barriers in capacity and enhancing my exploratory process. It is a testament to the benefits of "less is more". I have been able to cut down my time in ideating over problems especially in MVP developments and been able to critically analyze alternative options on the go before putting a human intelligence to use by way of reviews and validation.

n a creative content generation project, we used large language models to help writers overcome creative blocks. We fed the model with a sketch or initial idea, and it generated new premises, plots, character descriptions, etc. The results were amazingly creative and unexpected, inspiring the writers with fresh ideas they wouldn't have considered on their own. The iterative refinement process between human and AI led to truly novel narratives.
Some key challenges we encountered included the need for large amounts of high-quality training data, addressing potential biases in the models, and maintaining proper control over the generated results. However, the benefits of speed, scalability, and expanded creativity from generative AI have proven to be tremendously valuable.
While initial data sets the boundaries of what AI can do, the introduction of generative AI has truly allowed us to expand those boundaries and achieve innovative results that would have been difficult or impossible with traditional AI alone. It's an incredibly exciting field to explore.

Regards from the end of world!

As I'm still early in my journey of learning, I've started exploring and utilizing GenAI for tasks like brainstorming and template development. Also, I've begun applying it to create Excel worksheets for project management purposes. It has already begun to demonstrate its potential in expediting document creation and analysis.

Generative AI has indeed enabled a wonderful and innovative outcome in a project that I have been involved with.

Synthetic data generation: In a project focused on developing computer vision models for a manufacturing industry client, we encountered a shortage of labeled training data due to the specialized nature of the application. To overcome this challenge, we employed Generative AI techniques to create synthetic, yet realistic, labeled data.

From my perspective, in situations where communication must be written, Generative AI has been incredibly helpful in enabling me to write in a simple and clear way that can be easily understood.

I have encountered situations where the forum of people is quite extensive, and the written information is unclear. Using Generative AI has allowed me to rephrase the information in a way that is clear to the entire audience.
