Hello all! I've been using generative AI to improve the efficiency in some activities such as meeting minutes, presentations, which with the support of AI gets ready much faster and in a much better quality. I've also used it to wrap up the activities and emails received over a period I was out of the office. This experience is really a relief as I can get up to speed on the most important subjects while I was out.

At PROHRD Human Capital and Innovation Management, we’ve had some remarkable successes using Generative AI in our projects. Here are a few highlights:
Innovative Outcomes
Enhanced Recruitment Processes: By leveraging Generative AI, we developed sophisticated algorithms that can screen resumes and match candidates to job descriptions with unprecedented accuracy. This has significantly reduced the time-to-hire and improved the quality of hires.
Personalized Employee Training: Using AI-generated content, we created personalized training modules tailored to individual learning styles and career paths. This has led to higher engagement and better retention of information.
Predictive Analytics for Workforce Planning: Generative AI has enabled us to predict workforce trends and needs more accurately, allowing for proactive planning and resource allocation.
Role of Data
Data played a crucial role in these ventures. We utilized vast amounts of historical data to train our AI models, ensuring they could make informed decisions and generate relevant content. The continuous feedback loop from real-time data also helped in refining and improving the AI’s performance.
Challenges Encountered
Data Privacy and Security: Ensuring the privacy and security of sensitive employee data was a significant challenge. We had to implement robust encryption and access control measures.
Integration with Existing Systems: Integrating AI solutions with our existing HRIS systems required careful planning and execution to avoid disruptions.
Ethical Considerations: Addressing ethical concerns, such as bias in AI algorithms, was essential to maintain fairness and transparency in our processes.
Realized Benefits
Increased Efficiency: Automation of repetitive tasks has freed up valuable time for our HR professionals to focus on strategic initiatives.
Improved Decision-Making: Data-driven insights provided by AI have enhanced our decision-making capabilities, leading to better outcomes.
Cost Savings: The efficiency gains and improved processes have resulted in significant cost savings for the organization.
Overall, our experience with Generative AI has been transformative, driving innovation and efficiency across our HR functions. We’re excited to continue exploring its potential and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in human capital management.

As a Trainer / Coach for Project management, I have built AI Interview Bot in ChatGPT for Project Manager Role. This gave a lot of help to my mentees to ace the interviews.

I’ve used generative AI to analyze lessons learned and found it to be pretty accurate. I have not found the same level of accuracy when I have asked open ended questions.

AI has been very helpful when brainstorming or looking for ideas. Even when the answers may not be perfect it allows me to get a lot of input that I can use. Furthermore, when working on a presentation, sometimes you need a specific picture that is hard to find, with AI you can create any picture you want and that saves time and allows me to have a better looking presentation.

I have been using AI to help develop work plans for the execution of projects, consulting AI on market research, logistics, lessons learned, marketing development, basically for small businesses, which has allowed me to have a broad understanding of everything necessary to develop a project. It has allowed me to learn about operating costs and capital costs. All the information obtained is basically used as a reference to then establish a real work plan, taking into account local conditions. I think it is a good tool and in the future many more things will be achieved.

I've used it a lot and I'm always on the lookout for new developments in the world of A.I. I'm currently working on an IT service governance project and generative has helped me a lot to develop policies that are more appropriate to the context, analyse large volumes of data and generate valuable insights. It's important for us as project managers to realise that there are a multitude of tools to support different sectors. As an example, I can cite Artificial Intelligence tools that enter meetings and automatically compile all the minutes with a full transcript (in minutes). This is a huge step forward, and if we take advantage of it, we'll reach the highest levels of efficiency.
I am very interested in how GenAI is being used in the industry and any relevant tools associated with it in actual practice. Currently, I am taking the introductory course on Gen related to Data Landscape, etc. offered by PMI. In my previous experience in engineering, I managed development of expert systems with a team of knowledge engineers (as they were called years ago.) I wish we had the present AI tools to do our work in those days! So, I am learning the new tools to catch up.

Generally crafting documents to a high standard in various languages and generating business plans and ideas for investment models. Also, I have used AI to obtain very detailed explanations about complex or specialised subjects such as costs in certain industries. ie. detailed cost of productions of solar energy equipment in various countries.
