I haven’t seen Gen AI adopted at an organizational level yet, apart from one instance where our company introduced a meeting tool to generate minutes, summaries, and action lists. However, it was later removed due to client-side security concerns.
That said, I personally use Gen AI extensively to support my work. I’ve been leveraging it to create a wide range of project documents, including risk registers, project governance policies, procurement plans, and full project management plans with their respective sub-plans. I also use it to analyze and organize complex project data in Excel for better reporting and tracking.
In fact, I recently helped a relative build, refine, and cost-load a complete project program in Excel. He had shared raw inputs like the project BOQ, contract milestone program, and cost breakdown per activity, and I used Gen AI tools to transform that into a structured and usable format.
Enhancing the quality of manually created documents through AI is becoming quite common now, and I believe we’re just scratching the surface. I’m now planning to use Gen AI to support procurement and resource mobilization tracking, generate quality, HSE, and risk performance indicators, and maintain ongoing risk tracking using live project data.
Additionally, I see great value in using Gen AI for stakeholder management activities, such as drafting structured communication plans, tracking stakeholder expectations and concerns, mapping influence and engagement levels, summarizing meeting inputs, and preparing tailored briefing notes or updates for various stakeholder groups.
I also intend to leverage AI tools for program delay analysis and cost/budget diagnostics, which can significantly enhance foresight, transparency, and project decision-making. Saving Changes...

Claudia, I have recently incorporated GenAI to quickly research topics prior to building collateral for proposals. Having a dialog with AI has helped better convey industry standards and frame discussion points, which in turn creates a platform for how we differentiate and deliver more value. Our responses require MitM activity to ensure integrity and accuracy. Saving Changes...

I recently started using artificial intelligence tools on a personal level, and they have proven to be quite useful, even though I am still in the learning phase. In this sense, I realize the need to hire professionals specialized in information technology or external consultants to complement the professionals working in the organization. Saving Changes...

I was involved with large data projects where we used IBM tools (IBM Watson) and had to train models with many different data sets and definitions that varied. The training took a long time. The advancement of GPTs and prompts seems to have improved the training process, Any thoughts on other items that can improve the time to train your models? Saving Changes...

While I haven't had a chance to use AI in the workspace, I have used it to refine and tailor my resume, cover letters and other communications to aid in my job search. While it hasn't landed me a new role, I feel that it is getting me noticed more. Saving Changes...
The utilization of generative artificial intelligence (Gen AI) has proven instrumental in mitigating the time-consuming nature of iterative processes and brainstorming within my team. However, it is imperative to acknowledge that, despite initial training, certain team members have exhibited a lack of precision in their results. This observation suggested that further training in prompt engineering and the sharing of a database containing highly accurate and high-level prompts would significantly enhance the overall results obtained by the team. Processes that used to take weeks were reduced to days and a good opportunity to connect with the team to evaluate the proposal and expected outcomes together within the lead time.

Unfortunately, I'm still a novice and exploring the wonders of GenAI for personal development purposes to make myself smart so that whenever the opportunity presents itself, I want to be equipped with the skillset to take full advantage! Having said that, my experience so far has been no less than amazing. The benefits of using GenAI in conducting research into federal acquisitions agencies organizational performance management best practices far exceeded any challenges. Saving Changes...

"It is an important and popular fact that things are not always what they seem. For instance, on the planet Earth, man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much -- the wheel, New York, wars and so on -- whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time. But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man -- for precisely the same reasons."
