Similar to Lessons learned I am taking a database of about 500 Actions from risk reviews on different programs and asking our AI agent to consolidate and prioritize. Hoping to develop a "Watch List" for future projects.

Rapid content creation based on a source of truth. Documents that may have taken days to generate were completed and verified within an hour.

GenAI is an amazing tool to assist in project management. However, the result depends solely on the quality of data provided.

It was faster analysing data with AI especially when I was not sure about how to go about it, but further refinement needed to give it the human touch

Yes, I’ve experienced some truly impactful and even unexpected successes using Generative AI in my projects-particularly in areas like strategic communication, policy research & data storytelling. However, I encountered a few challenges -

1. Contextual Accuracy: Ensuring that outputs respected socio-political nuances, especially in local governance and marginalized communities, required careful human oversight.

2. Data Sensitivity: Working with real people’s data, especially in areas involving children or SC/ST communities, meant Gen AI had to be used with strict ethical and privacy safeguards.

3. Localization: Translating AI outputs into regional languages while preserving meaning was not always seamless; we had to integrate manual vetting and community testing.

I have used AI for drafts of email/reviews and for brainstorming ideas.
Developing the prompts is the learning issue for me, I try and treat the AI as a JR team member that need a bit of stern directing, Can you do this? Yes, show me. (result) no, do better I asked for this. (new result), better now include this (new result)

I have had some success using AI to assist non-programmers with HTML code writing. It took a few iterations of the instructions to get some of the work completed. But it worked very well...

Very useful to streamline and tailor communication that needs however to be constantly verified. Moreover, it is also very useful in improving the overall quality of documentation.
