One major use is to opt it for common sense because it's the most uncommon thing out there. GenAI don't get confused since it easily takes side based on the knowledge base that we start analysing as humans and bring in emotions, confidence levels that are also different at different times. So, all it is a calculated move, on option, a choice, not more then that. Good Luck PMs.

Gen AI can be used as an assistant to make things more efficient on project planning or managing the delivery of the project. This can be huge time save on some tasks so the PM can focus on more strategic and tactical planning.

I am focusing on the automation and process portions using GENAI. I am not convinced yet that its ready for prime time as a whole so taking baby steps and moving up once we have a better understanding payoff and learning results.

Our successes have been in consolidating insights from lesson learned as well as from Change Management engagements. We have identified themes and patterns and have been able to design and develop more service offerings that address those specific customer patterns, making the offerings more desirable and easier to sell. The pace of developing training and training scenarios and test questions has radically improved using co-pilot.

I've been using GenAI to help with brainstorming, developing articles and communication templates, and do some project management excel worksheet building. I've been able to produce documents much faster and increase my efficiency.
Yes I agree, AI is really helpful with Excel especially with formulas. It's really great for research and brainstorming. It's like having a project assistant which is helpful.

None yet. Our govt leadership has not yet approved generative AI. Looking into it now to implement pilots and tests within the organization.

I regret to admit, I have only begun my research and learning of Gen AI. I do not have any real time professional experience yet, but I will continue my research and testing of Gen AI tools, run my own experiments for personal use, and soon take my findings and transition them into a new career as a PM in a PMO environment.

We use it a lot for supporting brainstorming and early stage research in projects. We also use it to compile information, create articles, and polish documentation (it helps to create a consistent voice).

Yes, I’ve seen Gen AI add unexpected value, especially in speeding up content creation, automating reports, and generating insights from complex data. The biggest challenge was ensuring data quality and governance, but the benefit was faster decisions and more creative solutions.
