To add to Glenn's feedback, major changes to a certification exam are usually initiated through a Role Delineation Study which leads to a new Exam Content Outline which in turn forms the basis for exam item writing.
However, this does not mean that items within the overall pool of exam questions won't change as PMI staff & volunteers will review, update, and add questions on an ongoing basis.
