is there a roadmap for implementing GenAI in PM, given the main blocker will be stakeholder adoption and quality data.

Embarking to apply using GenAI, relies heavily on good data, toolsets for GenAI, and people to trust and adopt it. I am a PM professional looking to add value at my place of employment by defining and delivering PM solutions using GenAI to simplify PM. If an of you have implemented GenAI for PM, I'd love to connect and share learnings.

I'm not sure about any roadmap as the focus of GenAI use for PMs is likely to vary widely across and even within organizations. For example, some might choose to use it to only improve efficiency while others might focus on effectiveness and hence the user impacts will vary. As such, I'd approach it like any other process improvement through automation project - create the case for change, pitch it to key stakeholders and follow good change management practices in its implementation including starting small and growing incrementally.

Benjamin, I’ve seen many change champions tackling the utilization of GenAI within their organizations in the same fashion as Kiron explained and it worked well so I highly recommend you follow Kiron’s advice.

Here is what ChatGPT says:

As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, there might not be a specific roadmap for implementing "GenAI" in project management, as the term "GenAI" is not widely recognized or associated with a specific technology or framework in the field of artificial intelligence. If "GenAI" refers to a specific concept or technology that has emerged after my last update, I recommend checking the latest sources, documentation, or announcements from relevant organizations or communities.

If you have a more specific definition or context for "GenAI," please provide additional details so that I can better assist you in finding relevant information or resources.br type="_moz"

I am in charge to do that in my actual work place. You hit the nail with something usually missing: generally speaking the initiative has to be splitted in two main components: one related to people call Big Data and the other related to AI, generative AI in specific. If you take the thing in that way you will have more chances to be successful. Just my personal experience in this type of initiatives.
