I woke up this morning with a little surprise waiting for me in my inbox - 'gantthead.com is now projectmanagement.com'. All of a sudden, I found myself going through the five stages of grief (okay, I am a little bit drama here). I scrambled through the site in an attempt to find any sign of familiarity that was left from the previous site that I had been visiting for the past few years. Unfortunately, there wasn't any. What welcomed me instead was a fresh blue, totally new, look. Wow... I must say the look-and-feel of this new site is much more professional and refreshing (okay, I am not saying I am tired of the old look, just that this new look is cool). After spending 15 minutes navigating around, my initial feel is that the new site is more socially-enabled and some common tools are placed conveniently so that they are more accessible.

What do you think? Please share your comments on this new site.

gantthead was really cool - and it made me feel cool just reading it! But, if the articles and authors are the same, I'll deal with the change. After all, that's what PMs do - manage change. I'll get out of my mourning clothes and put on my big girl pants.

I am going to have to spend some time here getting the navigation down. (Where are my favorite articles? Where is Michael Wood?)

I'll find them!

Two thumbs up for the new site. I especially like the fast rendering of the pages of the site. It seems that more and more of the popular informational sites (at least the ones that I seem to find myself in) are becoming increasingly saturated with things that greatly slow down the rendering of page content in order to pop-up an ad or display dynamic content. All of that is fine, to the extent that it can be done without abducting one's browser. So glad ProjectManagement.com doesn't do this... :)

projectmanagement.com,

The content on the site has always been superb and quite usable for my weekly research and portfolio, program and project management assignments. The new design structure is okay, but I did not fully understand the decomposition of Projects (Manage and Perform) versus Programs (Defining through Closing).

The amount of Blue on the site does make the reader's eyes a tad weary and may not fall into an appropriate universal color scheme for information intensive websites

Wow, new, blue and cool!!! Love the new website; Wai I was also a little nervous but I knew Dave's staff would keep our data intact!

I'll be coming back again and again to share and will definitely be inviting new folks to join us!

Thanks and ushering in change in a big way. Great job!

While we can now share articles and blog posts directly in Facebook and Twitter, it would be nice if we can also do that for LinkedIn too.
