Are you referring to ALL AI tools or just Gen AI ones?

If the latter, then I'd suspect most organizations are still in an exploratory mode given the hallucinatory nature of tool predictions and the lack of sufficient well established practices for avoiding the risks of their usage. On the other hand, analytical support tools (e.g. machine learning models developed for specific industry use cases) are more mature and are likely helping more than they are hurting.

Thanks. Agree. Adoption of AI in project management is still in its early stages. However, I meant Gen AI exploration...

As real "AI Gurus" stated when GenAI gains in popularity: "GenAI makes 90% of my abilities obsolete but increases the remaining 10% by 1000". I firmly believe on that. More than a belief, it is something that can be proven.

Gen AI is helping but in focused, tactical areas such as improving communications or acting as another source of advice for a team. Until companies broadly adopt secure Gen AI tools which enable uploading of corporate data and the quality of predictions from the tools improves I doubt we'll see more strategic use on a general basis.
