Missing CAPM Practice Exam - Unable to Complete Program for CAPM Exam

Hello,
I purchased the Project Management Basics Program through PMI and I completed all of the modules. I sat down to take the practice exam to complete the last step of this program, so I can sign-up for the certification exam, and now the practice exam is missing from my library! I contacted customer service and they told me it will take 5 days for them to figure it out. I am on a tight timeline as I need this for my graduate program. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Should I try and re-do and jam through this with a different company? I am so stressed about this and worried that PMI will leave me hanging! Thank you!!

Hello Jenna – and Welcome to PMIs Online Community! Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I reached out to a customer care supervisor to investigate this, and someone will be getting back to shortly with an answer. Just as a note, PM Basics is no longer the official PMI prep course for the CAPM exam. PMI launched a new course to replace it, the PMI® Authorized On-Demand Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® Exam Prep Course. To compensate for the missing practice exam, they’ve given you access to our new course, which covers crucial project management principles following the PMBOK® Guide – Seventh Edition. While this course doesn't have a dedicated simulator, it's crafted to fully prepare you for the CAPM exam with the right skills and knowledge.

I certainly hope this helps and please let me know if you have further questions. Much luck to you in your journey!

Hi Kimberly,

Thank you for this information! I was just hoping to not have to re-do all of the modules again. I have actually taken a practice exam elsewhere - so do not entirely need it, I just need it so it will show that I completed this program. It is really disappointing that this happened and I was not notified and not excited to have to complete this twice. I am on tight deadline with my school and have been scrambling to try and find a solution.

Hi Jenna, I had the exact same thing happening to me. I finished the PM Basics course but it got stuck at 100% without being able to complete it. I contacted customer service through the website, and they told me that they have now removed the quiz at the end of the course because it was not updated anymore (it only matched PMBOK 6th version). Now, because they have added a new course that fits the new PMBOK 7th version, the old course (PM Basics) does no longer provide a quiz. However, in order to finish it, you just have to go through all modules and complete all of those. Once you do that, you should contact the customer service and tell them to end the course for you. They ended the course for me once I had 100% for it.
Hi Roxana...Customer Service keeps telling me that they are "investigating the issue." For now, I need a transcript or something that says I completed all of the modules for my graduate program. When I go onto my dashboard, it says "still processing" and I am at 101% complete - I need it to say complete! I just do not have much time to go through all of the modules again. : (

Dear Kimberly,

I have similar issues with completing modules of the PMI® Authorized On-Demand Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® Exam Prep Course.

My status shows only 98% complete, because I cannot submit my last answers of the course nuggets 8 and 9 of Module 8: Project Work and Delivery.

Please, could you resolve this issue.
Thank you for your efforts.
Best,
Gerald

I have completed my capm but it sits at 98 percent on one section, I have done all things that customer care said to do but it literally will freeze on a question that I answer correctly but never move forward. customer care said they would get back to me in 5 days.

There are module errors that are resulting in me being unable to complete the course. I am at 98% because I am unable to complete a micro-lesson in module 9 and module 10, due to a forward button issue. When clicked, the button turns white and nothing happens. The issue is repeatable and occurs with all cache and history cleared. I need to have this course indicated as completed or the certificate added to my profile. I have completed the survey, provided the above information as well some addition course errors.
