Seems a little quiet out there

Hello my fellow Process Improvement enthusiasts.

It has been quite in here for the past month or so. I am very curious about what your experiences have been over the past 12 months with PI and reengineering projects. The economy has been doing cartwheels and that must be having some impact on many, many organizations.

So, what is going on out there. Is management pulling in its horns on reengineering, PI and continuous improvement? Is cost control stifling growth focused change? Is downsizing raising its ugly head again?

Sometimes the best opportunities for PI are during times of decline. Streamlining is always attractive to CFO’s. So what are you experiencing. What’s the water like out there?

Remember there is always learning in the sharing.
