I don't think every job is immune from AI, but PMs will still have a future. I was a housekeeper in a previous life, and AI isn't going to mop your floors, sweep around your bed, or help you match keys when every floor uses a different lock. PMs will have to fight those battles evermore. Saving Changes...
Every disruptive technology has negative affects on jobs it displaces. The invention of cars put farriers out of work. The PC and word processor eliminated most office administration jobs. Robotics replace manual assembly personnel. Lean process initiatives are often looked at as job killers because they reduce non-value added work.
The big question is how the time freed up is used. Ideally (which is not always the case) those same people can be employed in more productive work than that which was automated. That does however require dealing with change in a productive way rather than merely longing to live in an unchanging world. Saving Changes...

In principal, I do agree with my fellow colleagues. AI is still in it's infancy and many organizations are still starting to utlize AI, so it's not yet clear what will be the magitude of impact on employement. Eventually, that happened, but it happened to those that didn't evolve with the invention. Same applies to AI. We should rather see it as something to enhance our work and make us more efficient. Those that will evolve and learn with the introduction of AI will end up getting better at their jobs. AI won't work on it's own; you need to tell it something, ask it to do something, and know what and how to ask in order to get the best response. Therefore we need to learn, evolve and adapt in order to move with it and get better with it Saving Changes...
