I'd like to know if PMI would accept Department of Defense Program Management training to meet any training requirements for PgMP certification? I have over 500 hours of training from Defense Acquisition University already under my belt. Saving Changes...

Majella, to my knowledge, the PgMP application prerequisites do not require formal training which unlike the PMP exam it asks for 35 Hours of Educational Training. The requirements for the PgMP certification are as follows:
Four-year College/University Degree 48 months of project management experience or PMP 48 months of program management experience within the last 15 years
— or —
High school diploma or Associate’s Degree 48 months of project management experience or PMP 84 months of program management experience within the last 15 years
Moreover, I did share my PgMP journey through my blog when I took the exam back in 2021. You might find some helpful tips there. See link below:
On a last note, the PgMP new guide edition and Exam Content Outline are going to be released soon (In a week or so) and so I assume the exam will be changing soon (Not sure how soon though)!
Hope you do find this helpful - Good Luck! Saving Changes...
