COVID did affect the construction industry a lot followed by spike in inflation. A few pain points that we are still struggling with:
1) Finding Skilled Labor: Navigating through this is tough and part of the solution, is higher pay.
2) Supply Chain Issues: We are trying to have subcontractors order their material well in advance especially long lead items.
3) Budgeting and Estimating Accuracy: Due to the current environment of high level of uncertainty, we are sometimes unable to provide accurate estimates for budgeting purposes until a few months before the project start due to high fluctuations in pricing.

I agree with the lists provided by both Rami and Md. Golam. From my personal experience, I would like to add that managing stakeholder engagement, particularly with external stakeholders who have a significant influence on the project, is crucial. For instance, the government or local authority whose approval is essential to the project deliverables. Effective engagement, including communication, is necessary for the successful completion of the project.

Aung Sint You're right that construction projects involve a complex web of stakeholders with varying interests. Here's a breakdown of the different stakeholder groups in construction: * Internal Stakeholders: Directly involved in the project's execution. This includes the client, project manager, designers, contractors, and subcontractors. * External Stakeholders: Not directly involved in construction but affected by the project. This includes local residents, businesses, regulatory bodies, and the general public. Stakeholders can have positive, negative, or neutral influences on a project. Effective stakeholder management is crucial to project success.
